hey guys hav some latest news abt sony xperia p ! the results of the benchmark test of sony xperia p is out thanks to a guy named arammcfly on youtube ! he has pitted xperia p with xperia arc s and guess wat xperia p is d clear winner !the total quadrant score of xperia p is 2379 compared to 1382 of the xperia arc s !!! whereas antutu test shows xperia p with a grand total of 5338 compared to 3615 of xperia arc s !however the vellamo test surprisingly shows xperia arc s having a higher rating than xperia p by some 150 points !! but i guess it might be some error and anyway i believe d quadrant much more dan any other test!chuck d vellamo out of d picture and u get d clear winner d xperia p!
In gsmarena's blog they have mentioned 1Ghz dual-core but in Sony's blog they have mentioned 1.5 dual-core

Satya, 12 Mar 2012Hi, i am very much interested in this phone !
Usually Sony phones trouble with heating issues... moreno all my phones are Sony Ericsson and all of them are not having heating issues.
From t68i up to Xperia Arc, Xperia Ray
no heating issues
I really wonder if the guys at Sony are mad. If they could make a dual core handset with such superlative design, why can't they afford to throw in a 2000 mAh battery? Most people wouldn't mind if the phone became slightly thicker or heavier, given the battery lasts for a really long time..

Usually Sony phones trouble with heating issues !
So, whats the probability of having the same with this ?
Bear my English
[deleted post]i guess the price quoted on dat site is something which u will see when the quod cores and the 1.5 dual core demons get established in d market !! xpect the price 450 $ or 23000 or 24000 inr when it will launch in d month of April !!!however id it launches at 400$ it would be a really pleasant surprise as i too am planning to buy this phone !!!
I was amazed that a great phone "Experia S" coming from "Sony" since I've seen the news in the recent press.
But it seems too expensive, I'm looking for a phone like this "Experia P" which can provide all the things I need especially the price is more attractive.
Good phone and features!.. but poor battery and limitations of video codec…
this could be excellent but with no card slot and (probably) below average battery i think the arc s is a much better all-rounder (and 1.4ghz in my world are enough).
i found xperia S a great phone and thus expensive.. but it looks like xperia P cuts off some of the features we can live without to drop the price! bingo! this is what i am looking for!!
