The differences is that the Xperia Pro can connect to HDMI output directly, while other Xperias (like the Xperia 1 ii & 1 iii) require a UVC capture card.
is there really any reason to get this now? 1 II now has its key feature (and iirc 1 III is getting it too), you just need an hdmi to usb-c adapter. the sorta rugged design is cool but there are surely cases for that.
Joseph, 13 Apr 20214K@120hz The Snapdragon 888 is limited to 4K/60hz, Sony just managed to make the display capable of that using the BIONZ engine

This thing must be some kind of joke? Ok its for camera enthusiasts but it doesn't actually work. A pc mag reviewed one of these and its 5g connectivity was intermittent and the camera wouldn't work properly and the software was throwing up errors. $2,500 is what this monstrosity costs. Youd be better saving your money and getting a regular Xperia flagship that actually works. Id be more than upset if id bought this for so much money only to find out its killer features dont work 😂
For everyone complaint about the price go and find a 4k OLED view finder I promise you it will be more expensive and have less features

this is not a phone for ordinary usage. its better to visit the link below before any judgment

Kosova, 13 Apr 2021You have so much lack of technical understanding... I actually feel bad for you.He is actually right. This phone as a Snapdragon 865 while the Mi 11 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra have Snapdragon 888. Also, no one wants a 4K display and less battery.
Mi 11 Ultra and S21 Ultra have 5000 mAh battery while this one has only 4000.
Both Mi 11 Ultra and S21 Ultra have 120Hz, 1440p display. But this only has a 4K display
The S21 Ultra can go upto 16GB RAM.
This phone is very heavy and thick. I understand that this is used for a viewfinder for sony cameras. But if that's the case, the specs should atleast be the latest.
most of the people in this comment section do not even know the reason why this is priced so high, im not even gonna bother explaining why its so expensive because they still wont get it
Anonymous, 13 Apr 20213000 dollars for this?I would rather by a S21 ultra and mi 11 ultra from 3000 dollars. You have so much lack of technical understanding... I actually feel bad for you.
Seriously 3 thousand dollars... does Sony get off overcharging for every single thing they sell?
3000 dollars for this?I would rather by a S21 ultra and mi 11 ultra from 3000 dollars.
