Bought Xperia S few days ago. Nice phone. Good screen, nice audio quality, above average camera. But Android really sucks. Coming from lifetime Symbian user. Multitasking hallo?
can anyone tell me which one is best samsung galaxy s3 or experia t and experia s....reply me fast...
hi guys.. one question for u.. support all apps in xperia S ?? pls reply me
Pretty good device. Good screen size, excellent resolution. Much better than almost Samsung devices. Camera is very good, but flash can be better. For this device at least a xenon flash. Touch and battery are excellent. I think Sony is much better than other brands.
Please Help me ,
I'm going to buy a mobile between Xperia S and P what is the best ? are there any bugs included in these phones?
I only have this phone for 8 days, however i am already astonished wit all about it. From the OS (it is my first android) to the walkman, xLoud, camera, etc. it is a wonderfull cell.
I totaly recomend it!!
After a month of using this phone, my first android device, a few items I have missed switching from my Nokia N8:
No speed dialling (press and hold number 3 eg),
Very poor flash photography (no xenon),
After using screen on for a while the front does get quite warm,
Ringer not very loud and vibrate not very strong ( I miss every call when in noisy work areas),
Data usage via Facebook integration is STAGGERINGLY high (have switched off most features now),
Once it drops a data connection it usually needs to be complete restarted, even turning it to airplane and back doesnt restart data traffic,
The video player/screen resolution and daylight camera functions are brilliant,
The Walkman is pretty nifty,
With careful management the battery will get me thru a full day of heavy usage,
Its a nice handset to hold even for complete one thumb usage,
And I like having a phone that almost nobody has seen or heard of (like my N8 for most of 2 years also)
Pretty much loving it otherwise!
Jaggerjack, 13 Dec 2012lolz. When it comes to cell phns some ppl r jst nvr satisfied with what they have. They always... moreyeah, whichever brand you use & even the most expensive mobile can never replace a laptop or say a tablet... some people expect phones should run like a laptop which will never happen.... dont know why people crib here except for genuine probs like hanging or battery issues etc.
.55 firmware does solves the quiklaunch mode
for camera, it smoother and faster launch. also it does
improves image quality in low lights and dark
*updated via flashtool
aiza, 15 Dec 2012first i saw this phone is really nice but sad to know the video call is doesn't work... :( video-call is working. Video call does work through wifi only using 3rd party apps like Skype or Tango. Most, if not all, smartphones nowadays video-call does not support 3G network because it's expensive ulike wifi which is free. May be you are using video-call through 3G network that's why you said it is not working.
Jhee, 15 Dec 2012Overall no problem except for one; the proximity sensor, every time I end my call I should alw... moreI experience the same issue. Sometime, the proximity sensor is not properly working. This is the only issue I had with my Xperia S after updating to the latest firmware xxxx.50. Xperiablog said that firmware xxxx.55 is already available but nothing yet in Saudi Arabia. I just hope that this very latest firmware update will fix the proximity sensor issue.
Pictures taken with the XPERIA SL :>
It is right there is no auto brightness mode. But it auto adjusts the brightness as per lighting
slumberzwatt, 11 Dec 2012That's true, buddy! Xperia S had all what I want but the most worst things about sony phones i... moreEven there is no External mememory. you can can a free 50GB memory from "Box" service. It was available to Sony Xperia S user for free if you signed up. So you have a total of 82GB of storage. Even with a card slot, you have to pay to buy your memory card. Whereas with this phone, you can get free 50GB cloud storage. I have signed up and I am enjoyiing this 50GB free storage. So nothing to complain.
Ampatuan, 15 Dec 2012hi guys .. need some help on this one .. does skype works on xperia s ? here in the philippine... moreThis is my opinions about SXS as I used it for 3 months:
1. Design- 9/10
2. Performance- 8/10
3. Battery- 6/10 (the baterry drain fast)
4. Features- 9/10
5. Camera- 9/10
6. Video (recording/playback)- 10/10 (I compared with Samsung Galaxy Note ll, SXS is better)
7. Loudspeaker- 8/10
8. Screen display- 10/10 (AMOLED screen type which is use on Samsung is not bad)
9. Signal detection for network- 7/10
10. Memory (RAM/internal memory)- 8/10 (I think it's better to use an external memory than internal memory. Because the internal memory/internal storage can't let us save as many as we want!)
