When it's Android, it's all the way same- no matter whether it is Samsung or hTC or Sony etc.

SevenxHrtz, 30 Sep 2012Hello guys, im thinking to buy this phone. But i heard about this defect called yellow tint. D... morea very small portion of users experienced the yellow tint issue, you can say around 2 out of 10. since sony is aware of the issue, they will replace the phone, so dont worry about it, however the phone hasnt been a year old, it only launched in q1 this year, i have myself been using this phone since 4 months now, and no issues so far, initially you may experience issues with the battery, but it takes time for the battery to get calibrated. also if you update the to latest firmware it makes the phone a real beauty.
so my opinion would be to go for it.
i bought it 2 days back and i just love it... no yellow tint or stuff like that though i was very scared that i`ll have the problem, but it`s ok
the ics runs ok for now, i`ve only downloaded 40-50 apps/games till now
one problem is with the '1.5-2 seconds press to take foto' thing yeah...sometimes it`s not working 2 out of 3
ohh! and the talk time is real , i`ve talked 2 hours with 25% battery on speaker and some photos taken while talking
SevenxHrtz, 30 Sep 2012Hello guys, im thinking to buy this phone. But i heard about this defect called yellow tint. D... moreNo problems at all, and even if it was real it will be a hardware rare problem and you get your refund under warranty for free
Hello guys, im thinking to buy this phone. But i heard about this defect called yellow tint. Does most xperia s users face dis problem or just a small portion of it? What is the rough probability of users facing this defect, like 1 out of a100? I also got news that only the first batch are the defective ones. Since this phone's almost a year old, i'm sure the first batch is long gone. But I'm afraid to believe it. So guys please let me know! Cuz this phone's a boss and too sexy. =)
mk16, 29 Sep 2012hey guys which is better..
Samsung galaxy s2 or sony xperia sThe choice between Xperia S and galaxy s2 purely lies in your preferences, both are amazing phones.
If you really have to get a 720p display go for S by all means, just know its LCD viewing angles suck and the blacks look grey. on the flipside colours are much more accurate and its alot brighter than the s2.Note also that bravia engine is a software which you will lose immeditely you flash ur device with a custom Rom
Galaxy s2 has a super Amoled plus display which is veery vivid and vibrant, the colours just pop, they are oversaturated and more punchier unlike the LCD accurate ones. on the flipside u get 800*400 resolution,in this time,2012-2013 this is just sad.
Overall if you dont plan on going geekzilla on your phone (flashing a tonne of roms) and viewing angles dont really bother you and u wonder what the hell does deep blacks mean, Xperia S offers the BEST STOCK EXPERIENCE,the ui is easily one of the best looking ones around.
If you want to go destructo mode on your phone, lets face it touchwiz is ugly, flashing a new Rom every now and then galaxy s2 has one of the most vibrant developer support i've seen and its going to be like that for a longer while, look at the galaxy s dev support!
put simply.... BEAUTY vs BEAST.. your choice.
