Android applications run in a sandbox, an isolated area of the operating system that does not have access to the rest of the system's resources, unless access permissions are granted by the user when the application is installed. Before installing an application, the Play Store displays all required permissions. A game may need to enable vibration, for example, but should not need to read messages or access the phonebook. After reviewing these permissions, the user can decide whether to install the application. The sandboxing and permissions system weakens the impact of vulnerabilities and bugs in applications, but developer confusion and limited documentation has resulted in applications routinely requesting unnecessary permissions, reducing its effectiveness. The complexity of inter-application communication implies Android may have opportunities to run unauthorized code. ( love droid)
Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012Samsung will have no future after losing the court case to Apple. They have a tough time tryin... moreWhich case are you talking about, the one where some jurors decided to convict Samsung on random (and incoherent) grounds or the one where Apple was forced to print ads saying that Samsung did not copy them?
I will take a wild guess and say the 1st one, because even though Apple has been admitting exactly the opposite of that half way around the globe, I guess the almighty minds of some Americans who cannot even make a coherent sentence (they punished more the phones which they ruled as not infringing than the ones which they said were infringing) must be the beacon of enlightenment for future generations.
Thinus, 06 Sep 2012I want to upgrade to the Sony Experia S? Do you guys recommend it? Or what would be suggested? i recommend
Samsung fanboy, 06 Sep 2012If u want future. If u want best . if u want beast ..go for s3 Samsung will have no future after losing the court case to Apple. They have a tough time trying to recover the 1 billion dollar compensation. Their GS3 may be banned from selling as well. What do u think their future will be. My advice will be to switch OEM, do not stick with Samsung anymore.
what about this phone when running heavy games like GTA3, N.O.V.A 3, ASPHALT 7 ...is it run smoothly or not ??

1 week into using this phone and here is my Honest opinion - Firstly Nothing special about it - feels like a cheap toy - Web pages look unrealistic .. Photos not 12 Megapixel - Whats with the stupid 3 pinhole buttons at the bottom ? This is what i hate most about the phone..could they make the buttons any smaller ? Buttons only a stick insect could press ,takes me 5 or 6 taps to get it to respond. Maps suck on it . (Lets be honest , Nokia phones have best voice Navigation maps.)WHAT DO I LIKE ABOUT THE PHONE ? i like that it has a very nice Notification light in the top left corner for missed text messages and calls which most phones dont have these days .WHAT ELSE DO I LIKE ABOUT IT ? Nothing much else . im selling it !

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2012The latest ICS build version number is 6.1.A.2.45 which was out for around 2 weeks.Yes, i've already got this update (6.1.A.2.45) a week ago but my Timescape remains laggy. I don't see any change log except one, auto-focus now is faster to focus even on a not well lighted environment.
Using this phone since April 2012 , found no issues till now.requirements are completely etiquette . Battery runs completely whole working day including 3g(all day),ICS is pact with some good features and user friendly to..if u really require and is there use for a quad core to you, then there are good phone in market, otherwise dual core dose the job just eloquently. browsing speed is good ,audio is good ,no bugs in ICS as of now (cant comment on custom roms).Good phone looks especially at night.
