Sony relay on their name for selling their phones not on spec .
beside i am sure after apple ban and kill samsung for copying their products .apple will start new war against sony.
Most of people will say its dirty work but the truth is apple have right to do that since all companys are copying their iphone and i think sony must leave phones industry and focuse with playstation world.
Chrisso, 01 Sep 2012There is no swype on the Experia S. The Motorola Razr V just out has the swype function for me... moreit has swype! ( it is called t9 trace swype! it is enabled once you buy it and run on!)

Aoba, 31 Aug 2012Sony phones are all same and the feature of sony phones become really old ? Does anyone know ... moreSony's new Xperia T / TX with next gen Dual cores beats Samsung's quadcore's in the benchmarks quite easily
Aoba, 31 Aug 2012Sony phones are all same and the feature of sony phones become really old ? Does anyone know ... moreI suspect Sony will release its first quad-core phone at Mobile World Congress on Feb next year in Barcelona, Spain. It is even better if their first quad-core is the rumored Xperia Nexus. Anyway, I am still enjoying my Sony Xperia S and I think just in time to replace my SXS when a quad-core from Sony will announce during MWC. I just hope their first quad-core is sporting a 4.7"/4.8" HD screen, 2GB of RAM, 32 internal memory, SD expansion slot up to 64GB, 13.1MP camera (just right for me),2000+ mAh removable battery, slim body profile and lightweight.
Perceptor, 31 Aug 2012I have used MW600 with this phone. The caller name for incoming calls is displayed, but track ... moreI assumed you have already updated your Xperia S to ICS 4.04 to have the caller name displayed on the MW600's OLED screen. I think the problem is AVRCP 1.3, most android OS supports only AVRCP 1.0 but to have track ID displayed, 1.3 & above is required. I wonder if it is supported already in JB 4.1.
Kannada, 29 Aug 2012I want to purchase Xperia S, and i am in confusion between Xperia S and Samsun S2. I will be ... moreSamsung S2 or S3 or Experia S???? One answer...Sony Experia S....this phone will do everything the Samsungs do and probably heaps more. Looks awesome, feels good to hold, bright screen and easy menu navigations. The added NFC tags are great...eays updates through Sony website and easy transfers from PC to mobile and vice versa. I always had Nokias up till I got de Sony Experia S..and wow, never knew a phone could be so darn good. Even great! Can use it direct with my Sony Bravia smart TV.
Chrisso, 01 Sep 2012There is no swype on the Experia S. The Motorola Razr V just out has the swype function for me... moreThe good thing about the Experia S it has slight edges around the phone so if it's dropped it will not crack the screen it is protected by the edges that are not flat like most androids...so very unlikely to damage the screen. This has to be the best one on the market..it's loaded with awesome features...recommended totally.
There is no swype on the Experia S. The Motorola Razr V just out has the swype function for messaging its really cool. But the S has 'doodle' on messaging screen where you can write whatever and send as a message!! I do not know if there are voice commands on the Experia S...haven't found them but listed in GSMArenas review..but it's a cool phone...awesome camera 12mp and HD, remote for Bravia TV.

Track title also does not appear on MW600's OLED screen when paired with X10 but works fine with older SE symbian phones, I wonder why this is so? must be an android problem.

Can somebody help me please? Yesterday I updated my mobile phone to the newest 6.1.A.2.45 version. Since then, when I don't use wi fi or data transfer, I get this warning: "network error, please check the network". It happens when I unlock the screen and/or when I exit gosms pro application. Is this normal or is something wrong with my mobile phone? What should I do to stop this?
