AnonD-32405, 13 Apr 2012Hey sri, Even iam having the same issue ... tell me what needs to be done I have this phone for one month now. I said the same as you, ' where is my 400m of missing memory?' They told me 200 was for one thing and 200 for another. Something to do with internal running of the phone. This would leave me approx. 600 for internal. OK guys I am not a technical minded person and I'm sorry but I can't remember the names of the things in the phone that uses this 400. Maybe you will know. Hope this helps.

AnonD-32405, 13 Apr 2012Hey sri, Even iam having the same issue ... tell me what needs to be done The rest of the ram that you don't see is being used by the android system itself. I do find it rather interesting though, that on Sony's Dev Blog they explain how ICS uses 340 mb, while it seems their gingerbread version is using 360. All in all though, you shouldn't have to worry about it, since 400 free is really good and even phones like Galaxy Nexus have the same.
TN604, 13 Apr 2012To all who have this phone, hows the battery compared to the Iphone 4S. From Vancouver =)I'm using both. iPhone 4S has better battery life. I have expected Sony Xperia S to be less battery life considering its huge and HD screen but I love my SXS most because of its amazing Reality Bravia HD screen and its 12megapixel camers ang faster processor. But in fairness to my iPhone 4S, its 8megapixel camera is stunning and decent compare to S2 and of course the Retina display of Apple is always superb.

The grey 'box' area is a transparent section which houses the phone antenna. Stylish! Note that the 'buttons' printed on there are merely indicators for the 3 dots above them, not actual buttons in and of themselves.
There are paid apps on Android BUT there are also thousands of free apps available.
The Xperia S can be rooted\unlocked.
The grey bar is actually an antenna, you can see wire grid inside it. The grey bar also light up every time you push the 3 dots button, look stylish a little bit (for me)especially in the dark. Not all apps need to buy, there're a lot free apps in Android market. But, most popular/professional apps needs to buy like Office Suite Pro
Hey this is terrible ,
On India's website it says RAM is 512 MB for Xperia S as compared to the 1 GB being said everywhere. We are not gonna pay you for 512 MB . You just lost a fan .
Right I'm hoping to get this phone, forgive my ignorance but what is that grey box on the bottom of the phone?
I'm an iPhone user and well Android market is new to me, do most apps cost money? And bit cheeky but is there a way to unlock this phone to all networks?
As I was hoping to remove the firmware and see if I can put the ICS4 on and find a way to unlock it.
bravia in action .only sony what,s the pic quality ,loock musthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjZNJcVlkBA
Hi.. I got my Xperia S 2 days back, When i checked my RAM usage in "Running service" it shows 224MB used and 400MB free. So i got totally 624MB RAM instead of 0.98GB or 1 GB?? Did anyone face this issue??
Finally Sony Xperia S is launched in India after very long wait. Hope it will do good in Indian market. But the price would be a concern. Lets see. Also hope will compete Samsung phone..
