No boy dont buy samsung yet.
it has some issues with 4.0 software. read blog regarding samsung. when it goes on sleep mode the signals goes off and you wont be able to get sms or calls.
Got the Xperia S yesterday. Simply amazing! Very good call quality, text messaging, internet browsing, fantastic screen, good loudspeaker. There are some complaints about the battery but I don't get it. I played a whole day with the Xperia S and the battery is still at 60%. Great phone.

action kamen #1, 07 Apr 2012Just purchased this phone 48 hours ago, I wonder what accesories from SONY they have... ... morebox contents for xperia s vary from region to region.they have given the box contents for this phone in their review.but it differs.
why the hell on earth sony used s3 chipset in it instead of s4 only now this phone looks good its the matter of time when galaxy s3 or htc one x and lg 4x is launched and blow this out in both performance and benchmarks these are the kind of mistakes that makes sony to suffer losses in market instead they make most beautiful phones and also they put white magic on xperia p instead of xperia s

this is the dope ass phone sony ever produced.
10/10 for the looks
battery decent it's just amazing. this amazing that i am writing a review for the first time.
showing my love for the phone.
some units of XS have sony branding while some have sony ericsson.i feel they should have kept it uniform throughout.sony branding looks sexier.the phone is a premium android device,no doubt.pre-ordered the black one.

Deshiboy, 06 Apr 2012Can any one tell me if this phone will work in USA for AT&T . And if I'm going to get 3G o... moreHi, I just bought Xperia in Europe and brought to US. Perfectly works on AT&T. I think it's 3g but I'm not sure. You just will need a mini sim card for the phone. Xperia is great but battery life sucks.
action kamen #1, 07 Apr 2012Just purchased this phone 48 hours ago, I wonder what accesories from SONY they have... ... moreNice to see a balanced view. If your new to Android, you will know it's a bit of a challenge. I was still discovering new features on my first android 2 months after I got it! so be prepared. You can customize your phone in many ways, but don't alter the Music Player, you won't find a better one on googleplay.(just my personal opinion). You are correct about the iPhone, it is yesterday's product, many other androids have now overtaken them and don't forget the android market is only 4 yrs old,(iphone 15yrs). Welcome to the club.
Anonymous, 06 Apr 201212MP Camera disappointed, while playing HD video it is flipping and display is not also impressiveWhat are you on about? The video playback is the best I have seen on any phone. Try MX player from Gooleplay. Full HD Bravia! Get real. As for the camera, I will not even respond to your silly remark. I suggest a visit to an Optician for you my friend.
I just hope when ICS update comes for SXS, font size is a bit bigger. SXS has so tiny fonts especially when you are going to edit a phone contact, fonts is too small particularly the numbers. Other menus also got small fonts while space is too large to fit a bigger font size. Even in the phone contact itself, just make it a little bit more bigger fonts. When I compare to my Xperia Arc, font size on Arc anywhere is wonderful. Well, hopefully Sony should make the fonts a bit bigger (considering the available space) on ICS update.

I wonder what accesories from SONY they have...
If gsmarena could list down the accesories in this phone section, this site could be awesomeness...
Migrating from iOs to this Androids. been for 3 years with apple, just want to try something new. it's like driving from toyota camry on road to toyota tundra offroad,. (in a good way).
So far, my comment on adroid, it's challenging. (for the 1st half hour).
It's not like apple, just swipe to unlock and all icon (apps) from 1st page to last page, for the past 4 years.
For Android, maybe it's not quite stabile, 1st u unlock, then your home page, (where u can customized). left page (customized) right page (customized)
iOS is for oldies as its very simple, for children and for old folks. it's like driving standard automatic transmission car that can go up to 50mph.
I dont know whats this, like SBsetting call, but they have it already without need to jailbreak. (good job)
I'm not saying i'm a fanboy, it's nice for both device and os, depends on the user.
I just wait for the right moment to migrate to android and sony gave me the right time to snatch it.
Iphone value price is very good where u still can sell it 60-70% from original price after a year using it, hope this could be exampled by android phone.
No need to rush the hardware even the software is not fully utilised. It's like u having a ferrari car with just a small road to use.
Better u drive a compact than a supercar right ?
At this stage, u can tackle cust trust. with brand and spec features.
Hope my word here not hurting anyone, just this is my personal opinion and review. Everybody can leave a comment or reply even GSMarena people. TQ
