polishme, 19 Mar 2012galaxy s3 coming soon Polishme I like how you have put it,"the Samsung galaxy S3 is coming". The Sony xperia S is however "here" and is already making it present felt. The fact that you are also looking forward to the Samsung S3 would also underline your admission that the Sony xperia is indeed far more superior to the Samsung galaxy S2. I would be very careful also about the galaxy S3 rumour. Have you been reading how the ICS update is going and have you receive your update for your S2 as yet? By the way, to all the Samsung users who hate the Sony xperia S, if you were to push the votes down to 0(zero) its still going to get chosen over a pump up votes Samsung galaxy S2.
Kunzle, 19 Mar 2012Do anybody knows when this phone is coming to Tmobile UK?I've just ordered one online from Tmobile UK. The website still says coming soon but I spoke to one of the assistants on the 'web chat' thing and she upgraded my contract there and then, gets delivered weds.
I had a go with this handset a few days back. And i feel right now in the market its the best Android handset anyone can get. Im talking about the overall experience, i mean the user interface, hardware, looks etc. It feels quite unique in the hands. Not so broad, bulky or anything like that. Very smooth to use. Im just waiting to buy this now when it is available in Goa.
mangesh patil, 19 Mar 2012yesterday i bought this phone & its awesome.where did you get from ?is it released in india ?
its wonderful to see a phone that can beat samsung galaxy s2 so easily !
But i personally feel the design feels a bit plasticky and a bit cheap !!
I never imagined Sony produce such kind of a design !

tanoshimi, 19 Mar 2012Got the Xperia S on Friday from Phones4U in the UK. Fabulous screen (I believe it's got the hi... moreSad to hear that Sony didnt give NFC tags in the UK,
got mine delivered last friday and i had 2 nfc tags in the box. fyi i reside in Sweden.
but just to make sure double check all the "hidden" compartments of the box, as i really had to look for my tags, they are tiny :P
I see lot of people complaining about the battery life. But isn't it true that Xperia S supports fast charging capability. I read that you can have almost full charge with 1 hour of charging. Can the XS owners confirm this?
If this is true then I don't think there is any need to complain about the battery life. I guess we can give the phone a break for 1 hour to recharge before using it again.
Just my thoughts!!!
[deleted post]Second that. I believe this could be cheap in manila, people there gotg so much money now, high end products are very cheap in manila now compared to some years ago when the stores were afraid to hav expensive models in stock. But now, filipinos buy everything expensive they can find and prices have fallen a lot, i believe the xperia s cud be very affordable!
AnonD-47101, 19 Mar 2012Thank you for this.. It is easy to get lost here, with all the people who come to prove a poin... moreAre u sure ders no nfc tags? sony boxes has a "hidden" compartment in the top cover of the box, many has in the past complained theres no headset and no hdmi cable included with their xperia, but they are still there. maybe? :)
[deleted post]Thank you for this.. It is easy to get lost here, with all the people who come to prove a point, instead of users who have used the phone and can impart their opinion on the phone. Do you think it is worth the money you paid for it? How is its multimedia capabilities?
Can anybody tell me when is this phone will be released in Malaysia? I've wait for it for long time. =(
It is quite clear that there is new kid on the block and Samsung users hate this new kid, the Sony Xperia S. They have been voting against it and have been placing negative comments about this phone. I have not own one but I have both held the Samsung S2 and Sony Xperia S in my hand and without a shadow of a doubt I would go for the Sony Xperia S. And for those who want to hate and are hating the Sony Xperia S, the specs speak for itself.
