hey guys ! why all always compare xperia s with galaxy s2? samsung and sony are different taste and style ! up to you to choose one, stop to compares them
[deleted post]it will launch in the end of march and price near about 28000 ...dude i called up on sonymobile help line they inform me about that
Alex, 05 Mar 2012Trust me, the Xperia S is way better. First of all it's much newer. It has way better screen,... moreThis seems like pretty biased advice. Firstly the screen is different not better. High PPI defnitely helps, but arguably many would give up PPI for the crisp and bright colours of AMOLED. Also the phone is not out, so no one can comment on practical battery life. Being newer doesn't mean much in phone world, its all about the hardware as there are almost no software differences between android devices. The only thing SGS2 lacks from this is processing power (1.3 vs 1.5gpz), which will be addressed with the SGSII plus update. SGSII will also be alot cheaper when this comes out and still get the ICS update. Of course the camera falls slightly short on the SGSII, but I would argue that 8MP is plenty for a smartphone.
Why is sony not coming up with phones which ve xenon flash anymore !! M looking for a good camera phone.
Steve, 05 Mar 2012Just read one of the first reviews on this phone on The Verge, http://www.theverge.com/2012/3/... moreCan't agree with them in some respects. Their main grouch is ICS. As i've read ICS is still very unstable, with much higher battery consumption. Let them work that out, because many nexus users report problems with their upgrade. Personally i think google is rushing too much with untested upgrades.
Anonymous, 06 Mar 2012I hope it just US$ 400+ or Lower, i'll buy it For Sure !!! Its between 580 and 650 USD...
epic phone really. but the problem is the battery life, since its already a dual core (like most of the smartphones today) and with its 1.5 ghz processor, i think the battery should be over 2000mAh for it to be a good smartphone overall. but nonetheless its a very good phone.
Steve, 05 Mar 2012Also, why no ambient sensor for auto-brightness?

Poor one will never get this !!!
This thing is Crazy Expensive for sure !!!
There's no Ex Memo Card Slot !!!
I just Can't believe this,
What with being called superphone ???
If it cheap ,it'll sounds logic !!!
The SII is known for having a few problems. You should choose de Xperia S, better screen, better camera and from my point of view, better-looking. I own Nexus S and I'm switching to the Xperia S shortly.
AnonD-45087, 05 Mar 2012hey, im planning of buying xperia s
but i cant decide which is better, xperia s or s2?!
a... moreDo not buy S2? Lucky if you can get your hands on i9100 version as samsung has stopped its production and started rolling out i91oog version. Google these two versions to know the difference. Wise choice would be to wait for xperia s and compare it with s3 instead.
Currently im using s2,i9100g version. Support from samsung is not satisfactory at all.
Sony Xperia S is a beautiful phone but SONY reeeaallyyyy need to stop messing around and release their products in stores. They take way to long.
Steve, 05 Mar 2012Just read one of the first reviews on this phone on The Verge, http://www.theverge.com/2012/3/... moreThere's a bias here. Take a look at HTC Rezound Review, while it got score 9 for the display, Xperia S display just got score 7 although they used the same TFT and resolution display.
