I just had this phone for 1 day and I love it. Although Xperia Z has been around but I got this for just MYR600 (a used phone for 3 months) which is bang for the buck. Battery life is awesome, I've rooted it and tweaked to my preferences. Sony did a good job with the base system and the open community to make the phone truly awesome. An upgrade from my 2 year's old Xperia Neo MT15i, I felt this a more responsive phone with more memory and dual core power; just what I need with my tight budget. Will keep this long until a worthy upgrade.
Dears, please could anyone tell me that if Xperia S has a notification light?

And it's pretty smooth so far specailly when it's on WIFi! And id acouple of weeks, it will be updated to JellyBean! You just have to make sure, software is updated! I hvae my S since April 2012 and it's getting much better!
I've had my Xperia S since Sept 12 and I have to say I hate it! It frequently stops syncing for no reason, trying to surf the internet is slower than my old blackberry torch, the calendar function is a pain to read clearly, twitter frequently hags and will not refresh and the supposedly fast access to the camera is hopeless. today is the last straw - no internet, no twitter, no sync function - my mobile network is fine as I can call and text.
I am using Sony Xperia S immediately after launch more than year passed. Operational performance is excellent except battery. In case we use games or Internet. Battery drains very badly.
my phone xS runs on latest version 6.1.A.2.55 http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-s/ but here it shows
6.1.A.2.45 ?? pretty outdated sony site
