i got this phone a week ago and i must say that the phone is a very gud phone.we all hve to know that evry smartphone sucks battry

Guys I live in Sri Lanka. I checked all the review and the Sony Xperia phones too. Particularly SL, P, and J.
SL has a bettrer grip and good features, but in Sri Lanka no service provider offers anything higher than HSDPA 7.2Mbps. ICS is commonly available on J and SL. All has resonably the same size screen. But SL is 60,500/-, P is 51,600/- and J is 36,400/-. Considering all J is value for money. It has got everything u want except for the 5mp Cam. But this is my personal opinion only!!!

The camera has an image stabilizer setting. If you keep that off, the images will be blurred. Keep it one and keep your camera as steady as possible while clicking snaps. I hope that helps. :)

Sony has also released a firmware upgrade. I have done that and that's also improved the battery life a lot.

Hey guys remove the back plastic cover which has been preinstalled for the protection to the camera lens at the back of your phone. Its presence is the reason for the blurness of the images that you capture, then feel the real 12MP camera.

Hey guys who are all facing battery problem,i have some tips:- 1) Turn off the Data connection, GPS, Wifi, 3G when not required and do it immediately after your internet usage. 2) Turn off the bravia engine when not required. 3) Reduce the brightness when not required or turn on the ambient light sensor. 4) Clear the apps which are running by tap and holding the home button for 2 seconds and just sweep away just after your usage. 5) Do not put the phone in flight mode or in vibration mode, as the vibration sucks the battery a lot. 6) Do not overly charge the battery. The electricity conducting copper mains in the battery tend to melt if we overly charge and it completely looses its ability and behaves as a 1200 or 1300 mAh battery. 7)Do not apply live wall papers and even it sucks the battery and apply some good still wallpapers. 8)Uninstall some unwanted apps. Thats all guys and sorry for my bad English.....

Vijith, 28 Jan 2013its very good especially the sound and camera is suprb, i like this one very Much....True, sound system is great, and camera can capture beautiful pictures when it can focus well.
