Try remove the back panel of the phone. Then you'll see that the camera is covered with a plastic that protects it.
Remove this plastic protection and see the change in camera quality.

my sl's camera is not that good
when the photo is in arc s, the picture looks nice but when it's transferred to my phone, the picture is not that clear. is there a clone of xperia sl? im wondering if my phone is a clone. pls help me :(

im using this phone and yes its true,the autofocus issues that you found on xperia S etc. has been fixed on SL pretty smooth recording video,but i don't find any significant different between S and SL about the 1.7 Ghz still same,very smooth!!

After i unboxed my xperia sl i noticed there is a screen protector already installed. Maybe the screen protector was the one scratched and not the screen of the phone.

von, 21 Dec 2012yes the ICS update caused it. BUT there are actually camera mods out there that really improves the focus and quality of the pictures!
