Used this phone for 3 days now.
Pros:-
Ice cream sandwich support.
Nice phone design
Cons
The UI is a bit laggy even with the 1.7GHZ processor.
Battery runs out of juice in just 1 day.
camera is very bad as compared to Samsung S3 or even the S2. :-(

prat, 05 Oct 2012still am at confusion.. which one of the following phones is best to buy Sony Xperia SL So... moreIf I was you, I would like the Xperia TX or Xperia V. If you're not in Asian countries, then the Xperia T will be the best to replace the Xperia TX. I would also like to go for Xperia V for the durability, it can resist water and dust. Plus, it has more features than the Xperia TX or T like the Bravia Engine 2, Clear Audio+ Clear Phase and etc. But the drawbacks are the VGA front camera, no camera button, and the storage is only 8GB but as always you can put microSD card up to 32GB which is enough for me. IMHO, I would you Xperia V and I'm sure it is the best for you too.

just bought the sl, the performance is just about avg when compared to a much cheaper touch phone
A)the phone sometimes behaves weird when connected the charger with low battery. the touchscreen becomes unresponsive and many widgets keep flickering and vibrating. have to shut down the phone and wait for the battery to recharge upto 30% before the phone becomes stable.
B) hdmi connection to tv is poor , sometimes the black appears very grainy,also the video clips tend to freeze/pause
other Cons 1)the touch sensitivity of back,home & menu buttons is week, 2)the battery life is poor 3)covers of the ports very flimsy 4)needs a more comprehensive user manual.
Pros 1)superb display of screen 2) good gps lock
