I think it's a great phone, in the price bracket. The only drawback is battery time, but if you uninstall the two antivirus software(s) that came with it out of the box, it is reasonably good.
Best features are it's hi-res screen. I've seen complaints about viewing angles, but i never found it any issue.
I've also seen concerns with batter time - Mine runs for almost 1.5 to 2 days after I uninstalled the two AV software that came with it out-of-the-box.
Awesome phone all round. No particular issues found.

i just bought my phone this morning and my experience with it so far is awesome,, its a pretty decent device, gorgeous screen, if you are sceptical about the battery life i can say its average and can get you through a day with normal usage.. its just the same as the samsung galaxy s duos in battery from my opinion.. so all those who say it has a poor battery life i really dont know what you were expecting from a smartphone..

If anyone have a problem after update via ota or pc companion,can try clean flash using flashtool,its always doing a good job for me...

The sony xperia SL is a disaster model from sony its camera is really the worst one its 12 MP cam shows clarity less than 5 MP
Never ever go for SL model guys!!!
