on official wesiteUse sony update service,,,,, u can google it and download it,,,,, install it in ur laptop,,, after installation,,,, off ur phone,, don't connect ur phone to ur system yet,,,, open ur sony update service (sus) select ur phone,,, it will ask u 2 hold ur volume down key and 2gether connect it to ur computer,,,, that all,,,, version 4.1.2 build number 6.2.B.0.211. got updated my xperia sl to jelly bean .
finally update is here in pak ..
well so far battery has improved , now it goes for 24 hours wid moderate use , but its lagging a bit in msging , words appear quite late after i write them , looks r good , display is awesome , cam is also good , notification lite has become violet type now , keypad in msging has widened a bit and thats cool .
jelly bean , going good uptill now

One is you try sony update service seus.......through this u can update to jellybean
If the problem not solved then go for manuall update.........grab the rom in ftf format from somewhere else......install flashtool in ur pc.........and flash ur phone by using this.................if u are still not able to solve the problem. then

i just update my xperia sl using sony pc companion upon i finish the "download" the next step was "update" then my phone turns off and when i open my phone it had a display on it with "phone and "!" beside it" i think it is brick. please help

AnonD-90631, 20 Jun 2013I dun think it is strange problem. I dunno why u buy samsung charger, why dun u use own xperia... moreI bought samsung charger because it has the highest mamp. I found (2000 vs 850 for Sony's original) . I charged once with my friend's note 1 charger in 70 min. but this note 2 charger takes double the time. why?

I dun think it is strange problem. I dunno why u buy samsung charger, why dun u use own xperia sl charger??? My phone also charge 2 hour 27 min.
