I tried updating the software on my Sony SL but the PC Companion kept on crash... moretry using different pc. you are running windows7 64bit pc? if so install latest jave7 32bit and 64bit on you pc before running sony pc companion. then update sony pc companion to latest version. connect your phone to pc. not run pc companion, let windows install driver, then run pc companion, DON'T connect phone to pc yet, support zone, click start, phone software update, click start, click repair my phone in blue text, click continue, tick the box click next, follow instruction on screen to repair your phone software.

ive just this phone for a day now, filled it with a bunch of apps and so far its not lagging at all.
the lagging is to be expected from a mid-low range phone. i had an xperia ray before sl and it lagged so much on ICS. it should have stayed at gingerbread...

I like it, but the phone overheats when palying game or downloading some files for a short time. I've even experienced the time when it gave no response with overheated battery cover after getting 18 missed calls continuously on vibrate mode. What should I do with it?

I tried updating the software on my Sony SL but the PC Companion kept on crashing. Right now, the phone is not coming on, its only shows the sony name and then a warning sign next to the picture of a phone. I have restarted and even shut down but it still isn't working.
Please what is wrong?
