ANDROID, 14 Apr 2014Thanks.... for your opinion .... Dude What you say about its FRAME BENT ISSUE.. last year I ha... moreregarding the frame bent issue i've actually did take a look on it and i could say that it will required extreme heat and some force in order for the frame to be bent, the phone does heat up yes but not that much for it to be be bent like that, i would say a force was applied on the phone that is why it was bent.
you've got yourself some good phone back then so i think you may want to try the sony xperia ZR, in my country the price difference is not that much. ZR has the all the good specs that you can find in Xperia SP, and it is quadcore cause what i noticed is that you've used dual core and single core phones you may want to try quad core ZR it is amazingly fast and lag free.
anyways they are both made from plastic so the aluminun frame of SP shouldn't be that much of a advantage. but if you like the notification light strip of SP then you can choose SP. ---
to sum it up, Xperia Sp is a good phone best when you do not update to 4.3 due to lag. but there are better options if you would shell out few more bucks like the Xperia ZR.
AnonD-250503, 14 Apr 2014i am still buying it though :dare not an owner of XPERIA SP....????

AnonD-31388, 14 Apr 2014I am not facing bent issue... it was my opinion on the blog.. well u must be having this phone... morebtw which phone heats up the most? ZL or SP? earlier this month i thought of having the ZL instead of SP, but when purchasing time gets nearer my gut really asks me to go for xperia sp, which was my first choice. not a heavy gamer and i am not a picture kind of guy. the thing that caught my eye on sp was the illuminating bar, 1st thing that gave me second thoughts was the upgrade to 4.3 firmware .266, that made me look for other phones and then landed on the zl, but then sony released .201 firmware, and also went to a local sony store, it seems like xperia sp was calling my name. but since limited stuff i can do with the phones on display, i do not have any information if which heats up easily and which does not.
AnonD-31388, 14 Apr 2014I am not facing bent issue... it was my opinion on the blog.. well u must be having this phone... moredude i was askin for you owners about this, am still no owner, just about to be an owner later this week, just waiting for my paycheck. just had a bit of second thoughts since i saw that blog, but still buying the phone.
ANDRIOD, 13 Apr 2014hi, to all xperia sp owners and users..... i am willing to buy this phone in 3rd or 4th week ... moreyou are actually correct this phone has a lot of great features and it's specs is awesome. I would agree that his phone is great and smooth. but the problem is not the phone itself but the updates that sony gave us. after the 4.3 update that's the only time that we had experience the problems like lagging and heating up. camera quality is good before and after the update. non removable battery is not an issue here. there are a lot of phones that uses non removable battery nowadays.
after sony releases the .201 update for 4.3 it still lag when you are using wifi or mobile data. so i would say the stock android 4.1 version is still the best for this phone.

It could happen due to 3 main reasons,
1- With using cover, phone is kept in back pocket of jeans
2-Due to heating of phone while playing HIGH resolution Games / video for long time
3-the frame is not build considering heating issue in future.
