If you use it properly like charge it before the battery charge gets empty and don't over-charge it, it will last forever.

Aerodisaster, 03 Apr 2014Thanks for the reply but then also i would like to ask, i'd like to know which would be better... morei forgot to mention about the camera of the SP. the 8 megapixel camera of the SP will ruin your day. I didn't like the camera, but that is okay with me coz i bring a digicam with me.
Aerodisaster, 03 Apr 2014thanks for the info! well i'll be waiting til the end of the month and purchase the zl... than... moredude, go for the xperia Z. it feels more premium and you can take it outside when it is raining. The Xperia Z and Zl has similar specs, and in my country, almost both products are having the same price, except the Z is a little more expensive.
you could wait a little more and maybe go for the Z, if you're not rushing.

Any Z variant is better than SP as Hardware is superior... SP is one of the best Mid-Range phone from Mar-2013 i.e more than 1 year.
and Z variant are flagship range.... from day 1...

with regards with clockspeed the higher the clockspeed the faster it will perform task. however at this rate 1.5GHz to 1.7GHZ you would hardly notice the difference in real life performance. so if you will choose between the two, i will choose 1.5GHZ quadcore as it has more cores to be able to perform multiple task at a fast speed without any lag. ram is also associated with multi tasking, and switching between apps. the more ram you have the more apps you can open at the same time. it works perfectly with the quad core processor of xperia ZL.
to sum it up. 1.5ghz quadcore with 2GB of ram is better than 1.7GHz dual core with 1GB of ram. 4 cores working together is better than just 2 cores. Twice as many cores; each additional core lets your phone do more without visible UI slow downs and jerkiness/lag
-better multi tasking
-2GB ram faster on switching between apps without slowing down.
-at 1.5GHZ speed it is already fast enough on performing taks you need. coupled with 4 cores you won't have any problem playing HD games
