The phone would be a masterpiece with kitkat....Sony is very rude for us....;-(
Going through over some reviews I came across some pros and cons comments of this particular phone. To me this phone is a king of all midrange smart phones with good perfomance. However it has a battery drainage problem like every other smart phones, but this doesn't create a big issue to me as it last for the whole day and i can charge it night times for few hours again for the next day use. FYI,there is always some draw backs in every phones.so,personally i recommend this phone for its reasonable price stylish and powerful performance.
it looks like sony decided NOT to make SP users happy anymore. they are concentrating other latest mid-range phones to increase there sale, in Oct 2013 i bought SP for 22k and now the price has dropped to 17k ( in sony center)
Indications are simple, forget about any more bug fixes and KITKAT upgrade. If fade up with SP, sell it on OLX and go for other brands on Flipcart :-).
Anonymous, 05 Aug 2014Bony & Clyde,,,, do.some research Tried to do research in the app, but even after all required settings are turned on, Skype fails to provide notification. Even tried to google out the issue and found that many users are affected with the same issue (even windows OS based users). If you have any solution, kindly let us know. It will be helpful for us.

k11, 05 Aug 2014Even if xsp gets kitkat the moto x is still better than sp.please at least reconsider the price comparison
This phone sucks. It is slow to respond and the touch screen is lousy. Often it takes numerous attempts to get it to do anything. Like swiping the alarm to quiet it. It almost gives me an aneurism, trying to get it to respond to swiping it when cancelling the alarm.
I have had the phone since x-mass and I wish I had never got it.
k11, 05 Aug 2014Even if xsp gets kitkat the moto x is still better than sp.yeah i knw that brother, but the price of xsp is significantly less than moto x (xsp :- 16000 inr & moto x:- 24000 ) & i really like that illumination bar

Hello all. Can nay one out here uses skype on Xperia SP. If yes, then can any body tell me why dont I get any notification when the other person is calling me on Skype. Neither the phone rings while the other person is calling nor I get any missed call notification. Please note that I am only using skype for video call. I am having Vodafone 3g connection & I am in India.
