Sony Xperia SP goes up for pre-order in the United States

Sony quietly opened the pre-order books for the Xperia SP in the United States. The capable mid-ranger is available in Sony's online store with a price tag of $489.99 for an unlocked, unbranded device.

Along with the already familiar set of specs, the US bound Sony Xperia SP will also come with category 3 LTE support. The handset will therefore play nicely with AT&T's speedy 4G network.
