AnonD-54439, 10 Aug 2013i want to buy a phone in india. Bt i cant decide which one is better in Xperia T or Xperia SP.... moreIt is kind of hard to decide because SONY has so many nice offerings in midrage device

In terms of looks and designs, both phone have killer looks. But I give a slight prestige advantage to Xperia T because james bond used it in skyfall movie and slight build quality to Xperia SP because of its cool transparent bar and alumunium body

If you're guy that likes gaming, browsing, multiple heavy tasks with solid battery backup.. You should buy Xperia SP because its processor is slightly faster than that of Xperia T (1.7ghz vs 1.5ghz) plus, Xperia SP uses the same GPU as Xperia Z. But performance wise, Xperia T is not bad at all because just like Xperia SP, it trounces some quad core devices such as samsung galaxy s3, htc one x+ in benchmarks, but Xperia T has mediocre battery backup (only 1850mah)

If you're a guy that is some sort of a photography geek that cares about the elements of photography such as details and noise levels of a photo, you should buy Xperia T because it has a good 13MP camera. The 8MP camera of Xperia SP performs terribly for its class, a firmware update fixes that though but still 13MP is better than 8MP

Both phone's audio quality is about on par.

If you like to store buzzillions of apps in your phone, maybe you should buy Xperia T instead of Xperia SP. because Xperia T has 16GB of internal storage (11GB user accesible) while Xperia SP only has 8GB (6GB user accesible)

So it is a really tough decision to make. It depends on what kind of user you are.

In short, if you use your phone heavily with solid battery backup buy Xperia SP. If you like photography, buy Xperia T.

AnonD-174425, 11 Aug 2013You r absoulutely right mate.. I own both the devices, just bought SP a week ago. and yes... moreOn what games do you notice this major difference? Both score 59.8 on nenamark2. I know xperia T gets thrashed on antutu, but im just curious as my xperia T runs all my games very well - except raging thunder 2 which works well on my old lww but not this! Is it better graphics that you are experiencing? Im just curious as the xperia SP price is falling very fast in uk and can now be had for same price as xperia T -any touchscreen problems? Does the battery last a lot longer and how much better is xperia T camera?

AnonD-152040, 08 Aug 2013thank u @james79 but then i think XSP will be a better choice then XT..... wat do u say ???I totally agree with James, however, would further seriously emphasis the drawback of internal memory not having expansion through SD Card. It can be a serious drawback esp. if you are into gaming, would be using a variety of 3rd party apps and would be taking pics & videos.

Well as far as the SP is concerned let me list down

                                      1- Camera:
                                      Stills XT > SP
Video SP > XT (Based on GSMA Review and personal experience with T)

                                      2- Form Factor:
Size - XT thinner and much lighter than SP
Design - The arced design of the XT is simply Lovely and makes it certainly the best device to hold. Haven't held SP yet but its much thicker heavier and does not have arc in its back.

                                      3- CPU: SP>>>>>>>>XT
SP is a beast, untouchable in its class & is above its league. SP is capable of dwarfing the Last year's Quads and seriously challenge the Mid-high-enders of this year. The two minis from Samsung and HTC don't stand a chance up against it while they are much more expensive.

                                      4- GPU: SP>>>>>>>>XT
SP is a beast untouchable in its league with its Adreno 320. The two minis from Samsung and HTC don't stand a chance up against it while they are much more expensive.

                                      5- Battery: SP>>>>>>>>>>>XT
No comparison. Its 51hrs Endurance up against meager 38hrs of XT

                                      6- Value for money:
Xperia L, SP and ZR are the best valued devices in their respective classes. As far as the SP is concerned, its much above and beyond its price tag and there is simply nothing out there that comes even close to its hardware capabilities. Not even if you consider the Last years second hand flagships. I'll quote again "The two minis from Samsung and HTC don't stand a chance up against it while they are much more expensive".

Yep that's the one Only my charger is

                                        EP880 1262-0690.1

Other than that its all the same. Hmm I wonder why then there is performance difference. Do let me know after you've redone the software. Hope that works for you :). In the meanwhile I'll recheck my phones recharging ability.
