[deleted post]550 US dollar in Hong Kong, possibly a lil more other place, so lets say between $550 and $600. Convert it to your local currency on xe.com/ucc
The photos taken from the T (in the review) look like crap. Worse than the Xperia S. Are you sure you don't wanna try again? Maybe it was a little out of focus?
Please see this guys! If Fujitsu will enter with this phone in global markets with a good price things will change for sure!!! The phone was announced today. Here is the Link. Don't forget to translate the page. After visiting the page tell me your opinion.
Eldamri, 10 Oct 2012Yeah! I only saw xperia arc on smart but not w/globe or sun. Hope sony will get in touch w/our... moreThe plans with free or cheap phones are scams anyway, 24 month contracts should be illegal (as it already is in some countries, 12 months maximum in some countries where the rights of a single consumer is stronger than the big telecoms)
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2012The screen has a better viewing angle than the SGS 3.
Don't get my wrong but the my office ... moreI listen to podcasts a lot and speaker quality is important nowt to do with fone calls, make about 4 a month..
The mobile phone is so subjective but this one was not for me..I have deleted original post and folk must try one themselves..I also love Concert Hall settings on the Sammys and tried every app to replicate the sound using S/E,SONY.LG,MOTO but not the same..Each have different things we want ..
AnonD-66442, 07 Oct 2012Philippine telecom companies don't offer Sony phones on any of their deals. I wonder why...Yeah! I only saw xperia arc on smart but not w/globe or sun. Hope sony will get in touch w/our telecoms just like what HTC did with their Beats phone
AnonD-8044, 10 Oct 2012Sorry was supposed to delete Jelly Bean update thats not an issue..
Display has to be viewe... moreThe screen has a better viewing angle than the SGS 3.
Don't get my wrong but the my office got kitted out with Galaxy 3's on my recommendation because the screen size works really well with my companies software but the you just can't get your hands round it my colleague has drops his several time now.
The not being able to the battery that subjective to the user only ever had to replace a battery once for a phone. Just look after it cant change it on an iPhone.
All phone suffer from frame drop when the light fades. I can't say I have noticed an artifacts on the screen.
Loud speaker I can't stress this enough it a mobile phone I don't want to hear your conversation with someone else get a headset seriously.
You say you have been a Nokia man which i was but from the look of it some to an Ericsson man. Since Sony drop Ericsson the build quality is great Xperia's, but Samsungs is crap, just feels flimsy and not put together that well.
i tried it out in carphonewarehouse i thought it was very good the miro is also a very impresive little phone i would go for the miro but i like the larger screen phones its a sham the miro has only a less meggapixal camera
"Display has to be viewed head on if you tilt it colours wash and display fades.."
Fades, try on teh best IPs and AMOLED screens, do they not fade? AMOLED has a big loss of brightness from the side, this applies to almost every type of display, light is emitted mostly forward to make them as bright as possible. Look at SGS3, it already have a somewat dim display, if it in addition was made to spread the light even more, then even less light would be directed forwards, and it would appear even dimmer.
The color part is true though. For example AMOLED is better here, but they get tinted when tilted, like on Nokia N9, looks very green even when tilted a little. Not to mention about SGS, SGS2 and SGS3 since they look blue even when viewed straight on from the front.
I had a Xperia Pro for 1 year, it has similar bad viewing angle as the T, but the colors were correct when viewed from the front, i didnt find the view angle to be a problem in real life. But when i used my mothers Galaxy S2 i had a big problem, everything is so blue where it should be white (much too high white temperature on all SGS1-2-3 and colors are totally uncalibrated, look it up at displaymate.com to read about it)
Which one do you guys prefer, correct colors from the front or wrong from all sides?
