AnonD-224077, 14 Jan 2014A flawless phone. The perfect mid-range. Cant w8 for it to reach India. Hope the price is arou... moreConsidering everything, that will be the targeted price point... This is a real contender to the lumia 1320 and galaxy grand2....
Grand2 loses to both nokia and Sony in this three-way battle... unless the screen size is too big for the user!
Both 1320 and T2 ultra have equally good processors...
The only difference will be the slightly better battery of lumia (quadcore is more power-efficient so despite the much bigger battery in lumia sony will almost give same performance) and the camera where Sony is obviously leaps n bounds ahead... But nokia is a bigger brand, worth seeing fight!
pepe josell, 14 Jan 201432Gb micro SD is very poor....and camera 8MP, not very good!!!Thats an error, for sure it supports 64GB cards and above, like all other newer Xperia models. And as someone said, the cam is 13 and not 8, i think you are reading only what you want to read, maybe because you do not like xperia phones no matter how good specs it may have?
pepe josell, 14 Jan 201432Gb micro SD is very poor....and camera 8MP, not very good!!!Hi Pepe, in the specs, the primary cam is mentioned as a 13MP cam. The 8gb value concerns storage, I'm sure this could be offset by adding a 32gb card.
If the price is right, this phablet will fly. The 13MP cam is simply perfect, the big screen etc...just let's hope that Sony will not kill this great phone with a high price. As it stands, this could be a real Samsung killer.
IPS SCREEN DISPLAY!!!
Good job sony, now nobody has anything to complain about the screen anymore..
what is this?1gb of ram?are you kidding.my old note 2 has 2gb ram and its not enough how we should try to work with a fablet with 1 gb of ram
Maybe because it's not Sony who the first company to develope IPS screen (it was hitachi who introduced it in 1996, it's old) that's why Sony doesnt mentioned IPS in their phone specs. Sony only mentioned its own property rights in there.
Maybe at countries sony has a good aftersales services.
But here in my country their customer service is not reliable at all.
I need to wait 1 month to 3 months for a minor reparation.
And although i still have guarantee card (not more then 1 year, my sony unit got broked), they make me have to pay for the reparation fee that costs 25% of the handheld price
Pathetic Indonesian Sony Center
AnonD-224064, 14 Jan 2014only 245 ppi ? HD? TFT againn and againn...245 ppi. This is a mid-range mini tablet, even Galaxy Note 8 has less ppi number than this - if you understand where does ppi number come from. And yes it is TFT screen - IPS HD (= Super TFT HD) screen.
A flawless phone. The perfect mid-range. Cant w8 for it to reach India. Hope the price is around 22000-26000 INR. Keep up the good work Sony! :)
WOW!! Look at the battery life. Thats the same standby hours as samsung galaxy tablets. FANTASTIC!!
Hope this phone is worth it, must be.
AnonD-19902, 14 Jan 2014No IPS, only 1Gb RAM on 4.3 (which is FAR from working properly - at least 2Gb is a MUST), low... morewhat do u mean?!?! what u say is in z1 series, sony flagships. this is just mid-range phablet and seems pretty good.
No IPS, only 1Gb RAM on 4.3 (which is FAR from working properly - at least 2Gb is a MUST), lower processor ... I don't really understand how could such device receive almost 10 on voting!
Sony uses TFT and hence they improves the displays to their best level! wow great i like my display on Xperia Z 4.3.
