After fiddling around, I noticed that if you set your ISO to "no more than 250" you get good results, less noise, as I believe the camera, on auto, tends to opt for higher ISO.
There are other free camera apps that might give you better shots, try them.
I am happy with mine and am still exploring the capabilities from time to time.

Post wrong comments I am using it for 2months the only problem is camera & itz enough for a normal user other all part itz awsome. Battery back up is awesome. I hve used for 23 hrs countinously playing games using network etc I hve no problem in battery life. compare this device only with itz competant device(price range)

id nybody drop der T2 ultra dual.....coz as per my knowledge dis fone is hell delicate...as compared to HTC desire 816...
M very much confused. My budget is around 22 to 23 k. . .I hav nasty habbit of droppin my fone so i think dat total glass front body n total plastic rear body of T2 is vulnerable to cracking.(did nybody accidently drop der T2 ultra or 816?? plz share ur fone's condition afta droppin. .)
. . .while on the other hand I love da brand sony which is just too awesome n walkman sound plus the TimeScape UI is superb..and sony have many service centers as compared to HTC in my town (pune)..n da best part of T2 is its Gargantuan Screen n Massive 3000mah battery which has enough juice for2 days. .:)as compared to 816's 2600mah battery :(
i've operated da T2 ultra and it was flawless..bt din find ny 816 to operate....
Plz nybody who is havin xperience of both of these fones help me out.... major thing that i'am lookin for is Sturdy build material and durable battery as well as fone life. . .plz reply. .:)

Hi I just got a Sony T2 Ultra, the phablet is good in all criteria, except the camera which i was expecting much, in low light and indoors it is very much disappointing, is there any specific settings to be made to sort it out ? please advise on this.

shree, 17 Jun 2014this phone is gud but hv one big problem is dat it get hang wn calling r msgng IDK, if your luck is good and phone unit is good one, I think no problem about hanging or whatever. But, I admitted Sony not so good in T2 Ultra Dual because too much defective unit like hanging because of dual sim. You can see T2 Ultra with single sim working good and no problem. I hope Sony learn from their mistake and fix this problem.

Unlike Samsung Galaxy phones, you can download font changer from Play Store and root to have more weird font. I don't know much because I'm new Sony user but what I can say you try root the phone and see if you can install Punjabi font

AnonD-274503, 16 Jun 2014I am totaly confuced within sony T2 n HTC 816. WHICH 1 SHOULD I BUY?Xperia T2 Ultra for good battery life compared to HTC Desire 816. I can get 4.5 days very light usage in Xperia T2 and 2-3 days heavy usage.
HTC Desire 816 has little bit powerful processor than Xperia T2 Ultra. Although it just very bit powerful, it can help you in gaming than Xperia T2. In real life usage, it just same and you can't notice any difference.
HTC Desire 816 has more RAM (1.5GB, available 1.3GB)while Xperia T2 Ultra just 1GB. The 0.5GB can very helpful if you always do multitasking.
HTC Desire 816 has better camera in outdoor while Xperia T2 Ultra is also shine in camera department. This two phones show good perfomance in outdoor but HTC Desire 816 wins in term of sharpness and colour (T2 also good but just lose a bit, but little sharpness can make your photo good). In indoor, both phone will fail to impress you. Front facing camera, you can clearly see the HTC Desire 816 has 5MP camera while Xperia T2 Ultra just 1.1MP. FFCamera of HTC Desire 816 show amazing quality of selfie. Xperia T2 Ultra bad for selfie-nator but decent quality for video chat. Xperia T2 Ultra has bad camera software for now, waiting KitKat update in July to improve software, fixes bug and improve camera performance.
HTC Desire can support up to 128GB Micro SD Card while Xperia T2 Ultra just 32GB (I try 64GB and it work nicely). Unfortunately, KitKat will not allow you to move apps to SD Card even after you root. I can move apps to Xperia T2 Ultra after root because it using 4.3 Jelly Bean.
HTC Desire 816 has better speaker. Xperia T2 Ultra has very low speaker (seriously not that low but yeah, it's bad). In headset/earphone, both phone do decent job.
HTC Desire 816 beat Xperia T2 Ultra in term of software for now. Xperia T2 Ultra has some bugs and problem for some user (I'm lucky to not experience any problem). HTC Desire 816 has good software like Blinkfeed and nice look too.
In term of display, both phone doing a great job. Xperia T2 has Bravia Engine 2 that can improve video and picture quality but don't think it will amaze you very much. HTC Desire 816 also has good quality display. Both phone is good display and I love both display.
Overall: I have used Xperia T2 Ultra more than 1 month. About HTC Desire 816, I test it using my friend phone about 3 days. Oh yeah, HTC Desire 816 beat Xperia T2 Ultra in term of benchmark score :D
Sorry for my bad English. I'm giving my honest opinion Although I'm Xperia T2 Ultra user (and I'm happy with it :D), I can say HTC Desire 816 is a better choice and good luck with anything that you will buy. Pray for yourself to get a good unit and not defective one :P

Just purchased t2 ultra a week before....n now I had given it for replacement ....phone is gud but theres a big software problem which. Actually sucks everyone patients..its 50-50 for phone
