This would be very easy for sony to fix by letting the user disable autobrightness, but they refuse to let us have that setting. Meanwhile, lots of people say they will not buy a sony phone because of the flickering, and sony is very persistent in their arrogance and dont want to admit that its a big problem.

Also the Tablet S comes with an IR receiver to control tvs/avs/lighting/cable box/games consoles. And the tablet is IP4X rated to survive a splash from any direction.
Also, if you've seen any benchmarks, for the Sony Xperia T which is a 1.5ghz DUAL core phone, this outperformed the LG optimus G which is a tegra 3 quad core phone.. It's not all about spec it is also about hardware and software compatibility and optimisations.

love the design of this , and another thing this tablet is able to use 128 gb sdxc cards that are formatted to fat 32 , same with any flash drive and hard drives up to 2 tb , i thought that was pretty impressive so i might buy this for the storage capacities
