Buy Tipo instead, mid range phone with a descent price tag. 512MB Memory, 800 Mhz CPU does the job.. Mini on the other hand runs on Android 2.3. If you're looking for the cheapest Android 4.0(IS) phone... this is the best you can get below $200.

P500 what to say .. Low memory and can't sync and update with any pc .Other than that is still a tought device, Despite all comment saying pro n cons of tipo .. I only trust your reviews coz we both using the same phone with almost the same expierience . So not phone for my girl or i just need to dig deeper to get her something elso.. Thanks

sony xperia tipo is not good product. There are lots of defects i found experience using the sony xperiea tipo mobile. when i connect for charging to my mac lap top the touch functionality giving ugly scales of lines in that! when i charged and using mobile opening lock or opening any application with plugin to mobile charging same experiences i found scale of line draw with in the mobile. Touch experience is totally disaster. I buy my mobile for 2 month back for 9400 with insurance! now i am going to sell it for 1000. i feel happy not to use this mobile again in my life.

bekz, 08 Dec 2012frnds i brought tis mob 1 month ago ... for the 1st 10 days it works well n gud but after that... moreIf touch is unresponsive, then take it to service centre of sony or get touchfwtools and install it in your mobile and calibrate touch. I bought this phone recently...d biggest drawback apart from the camera is that ...irrespective of boasting of having such a good processor..it does hang ...in fact a lot!!...moreover its earphones are extremely uncomfortable!..when u buy this phone..do ensure u already have an extra pair of comfortable earphones!

Using the phone for the past two days. Chose this phone after much deliberation, going thro various reviews. Was choosing between HTC Desire C / Sony Xperia Tipo / Nokia Asha 311.
Chose Tipo. Feeling so happy to have taken this decision. Its very responsive, the interface is very intuitive. Audio performance is good. The only -ve thing i see is the camera's performance, which i can live with. Guys on the look out,Do go n grab this.
