This phone is not you best bet. At 800MHz, it's slow, tends to hang unexpectedly while smsing... android ics is being touted as its usp..bt machine's hardware doesn't seem so compatible with it.. And nw i hear dat it's not upgradable to jb?? Also, speaker's quality is bad.. And while listening to music on headset, i hav found d sound quite low..which was very disappointing really.

Dear frnz,a good news 4 u, sony announced the new xperia e with 1ghz processor n android 4.1 jb out of the box,will b available g1 next year...price nt mentioned but i think close to xperia tipo...so if u r nt in hurry wait 2 test jb,co'z tipo never gonna be updated to jb.

in few hour..
ur problem will be solved by updating firmware by them..
as initially i was also facing it.. but in 4 hour.. i got a phone..
with.. very smooth nd responsive touch..
