AnonD-71404, 25 Sep 2012sorry about that for posting in tipo section regarding samsung really sorry . it was just tha... moreyou can post here and suggest and advice people phone according to their need weather its sony tipo or not.but dont try to convince them.Every one has different need and expectations from their phones.I agree with you tipo has high SAR value and sound in earphone is not great but in specs gsmarena has mentioned its SAr value and in review they have given that its volume is low.So let people explore and let people judge for themselves.The more they will explore the more they will know.if they listen to your advice and buy and if afterwards they dont like the fone they will curse you..!And even if i am a sony fan even i will advice n will go for other brands if they are offering more for that price.

i wont post anything now , and regarding your question samsung galaxy music . samsung yesterday released a list of the phones that will receive jelly bean update officialy , in that list there was a model named galaxy music , and we were discussing about that it could be the galaxy y successor . check p honearena.com
1 last thing i am not a stupid fanboy of any company . i will go with any of them htc,sony,nokia,samsung that provides the most value for the money i spent . that is the reason i paid for xperia tipo and had to cancel it afterwards due to High SAR issue and bad earphone music quality. other than that it is a very good value for money product . just that those 2 things are important to me so it was not a right fit for me .

Theres nothing old about A5, thats why it has so high performance relative to its number of transistors and power consumption.

and also you are right that samsung releases products quite often but if you really look at the product it is released after a year only. what they release more often is dual sim / cdma versin of phone. see that was about to happen this year with galaxy ace plus and galaxy ace 2. but they did not release galaxy ace 2 because they already had galaxy ace plus . they released ace duos just a version of original ace . same in y they launch dual and cdma version of galaxy y . so if they launch galaxy music now you will only see dual and cdma version of the same model launched with same hardware in the next 8 months , but a complete new model at this price with better hardware will come only by oct 2013

AnonD-72861, 24 Sep 2012Samsung releases more droids than any other company, so I am expecting the market to be full i... morewell thanks and it is not about cortex a5 or cortex a9. the difference is of pricing . qualcomm chips are priced higher and broadcomm are cheaper . and the gpu does not have to be added . it is in built in the chipset . it is a complete package with cpu + gpu , galaxy chat has a good enough gpu which is inbuilt into the chipset and not seperate, . see the mediatek chip in micromax . it is cortex a9 dual core for 9500rs . and if galaxy chat can come for 8500 with qwerty , i dont think full touch with 320 x 480 should be a problem at that price . since they are 256 k screens they are not that pricey . i just hope that samsung release it with 3.2 320 x 480 and not 320 x 240 . because looking at the previous models a 3.2 inch with 320 x 240 is likely to come. but if it wants to compete with tipo/explorer it has to come at that resolution. if that is not the case i am going with explorer but i hope they announce it on 27 sept so that we should know what is coming

Samsung releases more droids than any other company, so I am expecting the market to be full if Samsung droids in the next 6 months. I also feel that 320x480 in the budget range will not be there from Samsung because for that res they will have to give a nice GPU and all this will raise the price. The tipo is cheap because of the older cortex A5 CPU. A new cortex A9+GPU+320x480 feels like more than 11k to me.

Your research is good and I myself would like to see something from Samsung soon. The dates are absolutely right, and yes, qwerty phones have a separate market of their own but where the gchat excels is the fairly large screen with the keypad, so it is a sort of a fusion of the 'touchscreen only' and the 'qwerty' markets. 3 and 3.2" is almost same and nobody would get a branded phone in this range larger than this. I think that Samsung might give a chance to the gchat to develop its market so they might release another phone sometime afterwards. I also don't feel that a music phone will be sold in the budget range. Another thing is that Samsung has its Android music players also, so the Galaxy Music may well be a music player. We can just contemplate here. Samsung is also in a habit of releasing a phone and the releasing an upgraded version after a few months just like the y duos was launched some time after the y. Lastly I can say that even if a budget droid is announced after a few days it won't be available instantly, so either way you will have to wait for a few months. Well I may have a new laptop soon so I might be able to wait. Lets see what happens.
