i jus wanted u guys to convince(with pure heart)dat SAR value of TIPO is not as high as dat..!! i am jus a fan of sony not their marketing person..! whateva is right is right whateva is wrong is wrong..!!
I am not goin to buy tipo..!! i was waiting for miro..!! i thot it will release arnd 13k...but it is far above dat figure n hence i am not goin to buy miro as of now..!!n i knw if u really wanna buy sumthng n sumthng holds u back from doin so it feels bad..!!m suffering from it..! so jus wanted to make u convince as well as tell u d reality..!!

guys dont worry about SAR value of tipo atleast in India...
our government officials have themselves tested the little tipo and approved it to be launched in India... here is a part of their report

" The highest SAR value for this model phone when tested by
Sony for use at the ear is 1.62 W/kg (10g). "
also xperia u has the same 1.62w/kg
read it yourself .

I'll go and buy the phone when I would want to. now end this discussion please.u buy it or not..!! its ur personal choice..!! but y to scare people?!? i hav seen u posting links of what kind of cancer can occur becuz of high radiation n all..!! if u r so confident abt TIPO's radiation is so high dat it can cause cancer..!! jus sue dem...!!

NOO..dont dey hav other fones to manufacture...d values r diffrent cause d standard method of testing is different for different regions.!! USA has 1.62 as a limit cause it is d maximum permissibl limit according to their method of testing...euro zone has limit of 2 cuz its maximum limit according to their testing method..!!! its ot like US council cares more for their ppl n european council dsnt care dat much dats y dey allowed till 2w/kg..!! its jus like in some countries dey measure liquid in ml..litres in some countries dey use ounces n gallons as a unit..!! it depends on country specific standards..!! n according to my knowledge tipo's SAr value is well below d permissible limit..! i jus dnt want u to get scared n make ppl scare..!! n its sony not micromax or any local company to make devices wid high SAR values..!!

yes it is from OFFICIAL SONY WEBSITE and you will get this pdf in printed form in your manual inside the phone read it . it says clearly it has 1.62 w/kg in 10 different languages. this is for st2i , whereas st21a is for american version . difeerence is of i and a . international and america. Their radios are different and hence they use different materials in phone. hence there are 2 models of this phone

I just said that the stock in the US is according to their rules, so maybe the next stock in India will be according to the new Indian rules. Why are u fighting dude? You are referring to page 109 which has info for US and canada. just find '1.62' in that file. then you will see that in the other countries where the limit is 2, the SAR value of the handset has been found to be 1.62(maximum) at the ears. read page 117 where the info is specified for south america. and flipkart in India says that it is 1.62. Go and fight with flipkart. I'll not reply to any of your comments now.

bharat, 17 Sep 2012well the gchat does not have any listed GPU just like the gy. If the gy2 will have the same sp... morebro original galaxy y also has a gpu its name its name is power 1v gpu, but since it is rarely used gpu , no game company released any graphic data for this gpu, hence all the games had to be played via chainfire by emulating due to lack of support. the chip in galaxy chat is Broadcom BCM21654 , it is newly launched and it has a enhanced version of power iv gpu which offers better 3d graphics. but the only prblem will be lack of support for games and drivers .

If the gy2 will have the same specs minus the qwerty keypad, then it will just be another gy with ics. nothing interesting.

galaxy chat and galaxy y 2 will have same cpu 850 mhz broadcom cortex a9 , but it will have the worst support for games, you still have to root and install chainfire 3d and use pluguins and etc.
by the way that 1.27 w/kg sar value is for american version not international version as usa have different radios and network

Like A... morewe'll know in a few days whether the phone is real or not. every company will be releasing ICS handsets sooner or later. Sony has started the show. Now we have to see who runs it.
