Hi Friends,
Those who are facing problem of loosing network/out of reach of other SIM when data is working on one SIM...
Have you all ever tried this thing on other Android mobiles (of any brand and any price)??
Friends, that is the problem of Dual SIM Android...We have tested that thing on many handsets from various brands and found that whenever data connection is active (i.e. something is downloading) on one SIM the other SIM will definitely be out of reach....You can test it on other handsets if you can...

any one can help me how to deactivate automatic use of internet through this phone (sony tipo)when i recharge my sim card it is automatically use for internet and after and hour my sim card load is finish shock many time why i cant call it is because i don't have enough balance to make a call huhuhu any one can help me tnx your help is appreciated..

Alok, 07 Feb 2013I purchased Sony Xperia Tipo Single SIM some 3 months back. Within 1.5 months, the phone start... moresame case here, I too have wasted my money and time on this mobile. This mobile is now totally useless for me as it cannot be used for basic purpose:calling. Shame.

Please people do NOT buy this phone. It has ECHO problem, which is hardware problem. The other person continue to hear echos of his voice. Sony says its hardware problem so no solution. Result:usless mobile. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MOBILE.

Tipo is good phone but Dual version is crap. I need to be on call on both SIM cards and at least with firmware 11.0.A.6.5 it is disaster. I have GSM version (from Czech Republic) and both SIMs (but much more often data-enabled SIM) are sometimes unavailable from cell network. I tried to contact local support but that is next disaster experience. I think that dual sims needs some certification for better life of customers.
