This phones does have dual standby. Both SIMs are active at the same time. But when you receive a call from one sim, other sim temporarily goes off to make sure best reception and call quality. During the use of internet, other sim temporarily disconnects as it has only one antenna for reception. Sony should have added two. You will receive sms/mms from both the sims at the same time.
Regarding echo issue, it is definitely network issue and not the phone issue because I am not facing any such thing.

I am totally... moreif u want quality and durability then Nokia Lumia 510 wins and windows marketplace in not that bad either, but if you want fancy apps (majority of which are useless) then u can go with Tipo but its a very poor quality phone.

very very very good android dual sim phone. battery is superb.in heavy use at least 2 days. touch is very sensitive and fast work. thanks a lot to SONY.
