hello ..
i have Xperia TX just week ago,
i want to use internet of my laptop in my TX using wifi.
in my laptop i did create hotspot using Maryfi software.
but i have an error..
when connect in tx it show for a time of seconds " obtaining ip address " and then shows " limited connectivity "
i need help ..
can somebody tell me how to solve this problem.
my friend say you can yous manual setting. but how can i do this manual setting
plzzz help me...

i bought this phone on 22th feb ,
i want to share my experience with you people and things, which i like most about TX.
-my last phone was SE W300i which is Walkman phone,from this phone i become big fan of sony and walkman brand,now once again i get it in advance fetchers as a walkman app and this app is preloaded in TX and it gives you soul sacking sound.
-grate camera result with 1080p full HD.
-power full super fast dual core 1.5 with 1 GB RAM gives you best platform to perform high definition movies and HD game.
-very light wight.
-eye turner arc design and more....................

AnonD-33554, 15 Feb 2013i wish with the next firmware update they will fix the yellowish tint display, i hope they can... morei think we stuck with yellowish screen forever.. tx use old lcd not opticontrast like sony promise before. just some ppl lucky got opticontrast lcd.
u can search google ppl compare 2 same device xperia tx but use same lcd panel

tx_kid, 22 Feb 2013please help me decide, i am planning to buy this phone, are there any common issues with this ... morenot have to much issues, just poor battery life (half day normal use) , poor camera and still in android ICS.

my xperia tx need charge twice a day under normal usage. less than 15 minutes talking, not so regularly open facebook and sms. brightness set 1/4.
power management and 1700mah ba900 sony battery cant handle 4.6 inch with dual core krait.

Look If you want a skinny, light and arc design phone go with TX. if you like the NXT G phones Design go with SL. It is as simple as that. Otherwise there is no much of a difference.
