for couple first days i also thought,that arc S is better or something,but after two weeks when took my arc s in hand,i understood,that,it is great phone,but it's time had past!))
I already update my TX with in sony update center,got couple new interesting features!)

monas, 02 Nov 2012I prefer big screen,does it matter& wat about the music specs of the twowell the TX has the bigger screen, 4.6 inches to 4.3 of the SL. I assume the music will be similar on either phone as they are running the same software and I don't think there is any difference in the hardware.

Hi folks,
Got mine , thanks to Pavel for the tip. Having it for week now. Here is my 2 cents on the subject.
Almost everything is perfect with this phone, but I miss my Arc S. IMHO, ics is underdeveloped yet. Technically TX bits the dust out of Arc S , but ergonomically and form-factorly Arc S is the top model.
As expected TX's battery is a bitch, but manageble. I switched off bravia engine and did some other adjustment in order to my phone last 1 day with heavy use.
Personaly I am still getting used to big screen. It's really too big for a cell phone. No doubt it's huge advancement for watching movies.
Still images I made are just stunning. Quality is amazing. I miss some camera property options, maybe I haven't figured out yet. Didn't test video yet.
Bloomberg mobile coredumped when start watching attached video. All other apps are running flawless.
Resume: Must have , if you don't already have Arc S.
Will try other android mods, my favorite is cyanogenmod .

and also screen matters...some like bigger display some dont so its still up to you..TX(4.6") vs V(4.3")

TX vs V
TX over V - thinner(8.6mm vs 10.7mm), with dedicated camera button, 1.3MP secondary cam vs vga(0.3mp), 16gb internal memory vs 8gb
V over TX - lighter(120g vs 127g), has 4G LTE network, bravia engine 2, dust and water resistant
and V is still not yet available!!!

I've seen some video review. The UI is just great no need to update to JB. I have to hold back buying Xperia J or HTC one S. I'll wait for maybe 2-3 weeks before it will be available here in the philippines. This will be Php27K. perfect replacement for my Arc S.

monas, 31 Oct 2012Hi can anyone tell me which of the two is beter the sl or the tx thanxthe TX is much better than the SL. The CPU performance is on par with the galaxy S3, also has removable battery, microSD and 13 megapixel camera over the SL. the clock speed of the SL may be higher but its an older chip so it doesnt perform as well. also it helps that this phone is the endorsed by James Bond ;-)

Nick, 29 Oct 2012I heard the camera quality is low compared to 8MP in galaxy S3 and iphone 5. Is it true?Yeah, it's true. I got one and I am dissappointed. Looking at the images on the phone, they look terrible. I have to check what they look like on the computer but I'm not optimistic.

Xperia T/TX will not be launched in Singapore. Xperia V would be as it is LTE. Was tired of waiting, so just bought my S3 LTE.

can anyone advice if xperia TX would be using qwerty virtual keyboard. I was dissapointed knowing that xperia ion is having tradisional virtual keyboard.
