"The Xperia U has 8GB of built-in flash memory, and is not internally expandable. Of that, 4GB is available via USB (MTP protocol) for music, video, images etc. 2GB is reserved for phone storage, such as text messages and some applications - many applications are able also to use the main 4GB area. The remaining 2GB is hidden and used exclusively by the Android operating system. So the total memory available to users is 6GB, though only 4GB of that is directly accessible."

This phone don't have a card slot. And its internal memory is 8GB (4GB is user accessible) And in the Sony's website I saw Flash Memory: 8GB eMMC. (http://j.mp/TYtmxB) What is this? Well, I'm confuesd. So, your phone's total user accessible memory is 12GB (4GB Internal and 8GB Flash memory) OR JUST 4GB Internal? Thanks. :)
Updated my phone to ICS yesterday and did a reset. It is now working like a charm. No bugs till now. I am loving this update. Thank you SONY

If I reset my phone to the factory settings will it go back to the 2.3 version? For God's sake please somebody say yes.
I've been using this phone for the last 3 months. So far this phone hasn't disapponted me, infact i'm very happy with it. Yesterday I updated it to the latest ICS version, it did lag in the starting but only for some time. I restarted it 2-3 times and now its working fine.
I have one question, after the update it isn't responding to the flash content in the browser. I tried to look for it in Google Play and also in Adobe's site, but no success yet. How can I download it manually?
xperia u is the best phone in it's price category.it has the best battery-efficient dual-core processor that heats up much less, the gpu is modern and more powerful than mere adreno 200.it has the best display that can beat even high end phones though the screen is only 3.5 inch.the ram and internal memory are also sufficient for smooth operation.but one flaw kills all these qualities.that is its SAR value.SAR is a unit of radio-activity.Radio-activity of this model is so high that it may damage our brain and cause brain cancer too as scientists point out.it has one of the highest and probably the highest SAR values in mobile history.Sony made such a nice phone, but couldn't they lower its potentially dangerous SAR value?
hey guys does this phone have Battery light indicator???
