How to disable xperia u bottom light , if any body knows ,please tell me
Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich is now rolling out on the rest of the Sony Xperia handsets running the NovaThor U8500 platform. The Sony Xperia go, Xperia sola and Xperia U are starting to receive the ICS update as we speak. As usual, Sony says that the rollout will continue over the next few weeks in markets globally.
When you (finally) receive that ICS update, you'll be enjoying a much faster system response, vastly improved core apps, better app support and a number of additional features such as resizable widgets, Sony's new media apps - "Walkman", "Album" and "Movies", and Xperia sola users will even get a brand new "glove mode", this enables you to use your handset in the cold with gloves on. Sounds neat.
xue, 28 Sep 2012@newmunrock,huh,...xperia u has a great density on it's screen.and it has dual core mali 400 p... moreGPU Mali 400 In Xperia U can not faster than adreno 205 cause
it just single core GPU , so it has faster than adreno 205 4 times in Exynos chipset only in Samsung galaxy S2 ....
In fact St Novathor U8500 has single core GPU not 4 core !!!!!!!!!
In display i agree that Xperia U is sharpness but in performance Ace2 can run smoother than U cause Ace2 has more ram 768 vs 512
abt clock speed in the same chipset 800Mhz vs 1000Mhz performance have a few different 5-10% but for more ram it more different 20-30%
I love sony but I don't like samsung cause Sony NXT style can give more experience !!!!!
has anyone already updated their xpu to ics?...can u pls make a qick review of the update..thanks in advance

lets hope it works fine!!
we can only do that!!
M.G, 28 Sep 2012ICS rollout has started!!!! check out Sony blogAnnoyingly, the update service doesn't say what version is available, and having heard bad things about 6.0.B.3.184 would rather avoid risking it installing that, as the ICS roll-out is phased! Guess I'll have to wait a couple of weeks to be sure, and obviously check any reviews as to how it copes in 512MB with Sony cr*pware.
vikas, 28 Sep 2012how to connect phone to pc when i connect phone to pc its show charging and not connected Alternatively, you should be invited to install PC Companion once you plug in the phone, but it's horrid bloatware that I wouldn't recommend unless you really need it, and if the invitation isn't appearing anyway, it's rather irrelevant.

The easiest way if you are a Windows user is to have at least version 11 of Windows Media Player installed, since this provides the MTP driver needed to connect with USB. It sometimes takes a few seconds to detect the device plugged in. You don't have to specifically run WMP11+, just have it installed.
Other PC operating systems include MTP support as standard.
Alternatively, if you have wi-fi and are OK with transfer rate being a little slower, the WiFi File Transfer app (even the free version) is superb for things like downloading photos without having to bother with a physical link.
