For the questions that if sony xperia v is a water resistant? yes it is, BUT only a "water splash proof" the only water resistant Xperia phones are Sony Xperia Acro S, Sony Xperia Go, And Sony Xperia Z, Nothing more, Nothing less
right now am using xperia Z, after 2 years using xperia arc. but, 5" screen and the dimension is too big for me.
might change to Xperia V in a couple of month time, since this is the only phone that catch my interest since before release of XZ up till now. Smaller size, perfect screen size, waterproof, and people said that better display compare to Z. anybody has problem with this phone so far?
the only dis advantage of xperia v is it does'nt have hard camera button :((
xperia v is water resistant but does that means the phone resist from sea water, pool, river or any kind of water?
pls tell me when it is available in India. im waiting from long time..
Being a Sony Ericsson fan for some years i am clearly not dissapointed in the graphics and optimizing handling of the V. The Bravia kengine is amazing even with google maps. Watching a full season or movies is a blast. The dual core Krait does a good job at both graphics and processing for a handset in this price range. The only dissapointment I had on the phone were the internal storage at 4GB the orignal specs indicates 8GB. Otherwise I woudld recommend the handset to anybody who like Sony. As a technical person I do not measure brand with specs but the peformance of product. Well done Sony....
I am using sony for the third time.I have used Z ,ZL bt V is more better than those models Z,ZL is having over heating problems.overall performance of Z and ZL is like shit (good 4 nothing). when we compare this with other phones like SAMSUNG, HTC etc this is a real tough guy far more better dan XPERIA Z,ZL
cam : very good
screen quallity : pretty good
battry bckup : avrg.
gaming : avrg.
value for money : resonable.
head phone quality : good.
looks : NOT GOOD (BACK PANAL SUX)
ma verdict : typical all rounder from sony .

Today I've start using the 3600mah battery by mugen..
I feel the battery can last longer on 1st use.however it does make the phone ugly with the new backcover..
hmm I think I will use the battery at home only and use the original when im going out..
Anonymous, 13 May 2013Compared to Xperia S, which one is better?
Xperia S Vs Xperia V. They have both same proces... morego for xperia v as it has krait processors which are far more efficient than snapdragon s3
