HTC and LG already started the NEW GENERATION with Quadcore Kraits and Quadcore A-15 with 2GB ram. Also enough with pixel densities of 300+ Because in 2013 high ends would have ultra high definition of 1080 and pixel densities of over 400+ppi

But it looks quite logical now. The T and TX is the flagship for second half of 2012 but was relased very late. The XV with SONY all new technologies could be the first of the new group of phones. Based on the time that it is released worldwide - 2013 - and the coming phones - Odin, Yuga, this is truely a mid range phone in 2013. Yes, it is better than 2012 flagships :)

I'm still expecting a Danish release of Xperia V tomorrow or latest on Friday. If it's out tomorrow I'll be getting it before noon.

If you people think that the battery is not sufficient you should see Sony boost charging 10 mins 0 to 80%. Also to save battery turn of Bravia Engine when mot in use

Very nice specification. perfect smart phone for me. i like the water resistance facilities. 1 point down for missing camera button. battery 1750mh okay for mid range. i would buy it if price is not more than 25000 indian Rs.

because the cheapest Sony phone still give you some classy user experience :)
The smaller battery size should have been calculated to match the smaller screen size, dual core CPU and also the use of new display technology
If the Xperia V battery can handle a normal day use then Sony proves to be superior in performance optimisation. This has been evidenced in the way they maximise the use of dual core processor
