Looks like Xperia VL getting sold for Yen 30000 in Japan. Its around $380 (i.e.) around INR 20000. So if Xperia V cost same or even INR 22000, I'm damn sure Xperia lovers like me, will get it without giving second thought. Since my Walkman Sony gets spoiled due to rain few days back, I dying to get this water resistant phone.

Well base on my experience the product is good using w900 for 5 years and then satio for 5 years but Sony lack support on their product and taking to long to launch their phone and giving software update.Hope it will change cause mereally interested in VL.

If yes, then, Sony Xperia V is MY much awaited phone. I really wanted to switch to Sony as I've heard, great features, and long lasting phone. Hopefully, they'll release this phone in the PH by end of December. In time for Christmas! :) (But early January 2013 is not that long to wait. :D)

All other features are ok, but it would have been much better if battery capacity is increased at 2000 mhp

Two main issues why i never fancy sony's phones...
Firstly, in term of its IP55/57, it is still not the highest standard.
Motorola Defy, Defy+, Defy mini, Defy XT535 all have a rate IP67.
Secondly, all the above mentioned phones have user-replaceable battery.
I am not bother about the software/hardware specs. Well, Sony's phone may have a better specs than other water resistance phone, but then all of those Water resistence phone LACK user-replaceable battery, which I do not fancy.
Having my phone with user-replaceable battery is more practical than internal battery phone.
oh, by the way, iphone is the last phone on earth i will ever have, period.

I would have gone for Xperia V instead of Nexus 4 if they launched with Quad Core processor and bit big display
