Hi all, have been using Xperia V for 8 months now.I got the white color and ordered it's cover from Casemate (they have very nice & good quality cases for most makes-no advertisement intended)
Battery backup was pathetic so had to root it(beware of warranty issues & bricking the phone while rooting) Installed nofrillsCPU and battery lasts for 14-16 hours with moderate use (calls, push email, moderate browsing, camera & wifi on) after which it needs to be charged.
Phone is blazing fast although gets a bit hot during processor intensive activities (thanks to water-proof design)
Waterproof resistance works good for the first few months but then the flaps become loose hence try to avoid contact with water.
This phone has one of the best cameras out there. Picture quality is just perfect in daylight & equally good at night.
One of the most good looking, fast & sleek phones out there. I Love MI SONY Xperia V!!!
Vite, 03 Jul 2014The specs indicate battery life on stand by mode of up to 300hrs on 2G and 400hrs on 3G. But m... moreYou need to root and then install noFrillsCPU...would increase backup time..just choose the default options after installation. Please note that rooting may void your warranty and you are solely responsible for any damage caused during rooting..if you are not sure what you are doing then I suggest you may use power saving feature in settings/power management
hi i need 1 help
i planing Sony x Peria c mobile this cell really good?
using this phone for last 8 months, for it's wonderful.
it has option to move to SD card
The specs indicate battery life on stand by mode of up to 300hrs on 2G and 400hrs on 3G. But my phone doesn't last even 12hrs. Is it a factory fault or may be there is an application I ought to download to enhence the battery life?
i replaced my broken screen on my xperia V and now i dont have network reception anyone know what the problem could be?
he latest 4.3 update 9.2.A.2.5 doesn't solve the ram issue the unit slow the camera is not that good. the best is 4.1 jelly bean. the update is a waste of time reverting back to 4.1. better ram, better camera, better speed no bugs. and all i can say there is no hope for our sony xperia v cos 4.3 will never match the stability of 4.1. the worst update. it make the unit useless.

hubble, 26 Jun 2014the latest 4.3 update 9.2.A.2.5 seems to have solved the ram issue.but ive got the 4.3 9.2.A.1.210 version how do i update this ????
It was the first phone offered with an LTE Plan .. I was among the first to get it. And I was happy for a while. Perfect phone I thought. But then there are no docks available on the market. The waterproof flap covering the micro-USB gave way. And Xperia Service in the Philippines is just not service at all. So I just became tired of it.. and found newer LTE-capable phones with much better battery capacity. Never mind that they're not waterproof. I will never get Xperia phones anymore just because there're no service you can get at all.
