AnonD-72961, 23 Sep 2012Men, tell me which is better between Sony Xperia V and Iphone 5??? i'm wondering! beside that ... moreip is a closed ecosystem, it doesnt give you control over your stuff, you cant put your own things on it, you cannot even share a photo over bluetooth and your old MP3 collection you just have to forget about. You must do things the way Jobs decided, live your life the itunes and appstore way.
Android put the user in center without unreasonable limitations and restrictions.
And the ip5 performance numbers are fake, if it had that much performance it would overheat in no time. It skips frames and watever to make fake benchmark results, with modern technology there are still limits how much work you can do without creating serious heat, ip5 defies the laws of thermodynamics.
Men, tell me which is better between Sony Xperia V and Iphone 5??? i'm wondering! beside that when will this phone come to the market, it took time!!! I like this phone!!!
Anonymous, 22 Sep 2012For me Xperia V would be good for 2 years maybe. For you, who still have X10 minipro, and stil... morehaha, true, true, i like the mini for a very *stupid* reason, is small, and i needed a small phone for a time (i drive a lot and the car i had only had a place for a very small phone, i use it with waze), but now i can move along with bigger stuff, but i also meant *i don't really do much stuff with it*, check mail, surf from time to time, the usual txt, and use Waze, but now i' m thinking about gaming and hiking that why i have the rain resistant as a plus, i was also keeping in mind the motorola maxx because of the battery, hehe but your comment made me smile, thank you, i hope it does last that long
Anonymous, 21 Sep 2012Seriously, Acro S? We are a few months away from 2013, why spend so much money on 2011 hardwar... moreYou just didnt get my point. I'm not just after the shutter key button, but also for the smaller dimension and 1.3MP 720p front facing cam which the Acro S had.
Thats what I need to borrow from Acro S and put it on Xperia V. And thats also the reason why I said 'Almost perfect for me.'
Wind, 21 Sep 2012Dude, it would be stupid if a 2011 CPU couldn't handle a 2012 OS. It's not a 3D game, for hell... moreDude, read again carefully my comment. Point a phrase that I said it couldn't handle JB. I know, ofcourse, it will be updated to JB, but how well it can handle.
For Gods sake!
nickname, 22 Sep 2012everyone please share a thought or two

Anonymous, 21 Sep 2012Yes for sure this could have been smaller and slimmer, untill u read a few lines down and see ... moreWell, you're not an xperia fan. Go search for Xperia Acro S. It has all the requirements I need including the IP57.
But I'm not so sure if Scorpion processor can handle well JB. As far as I see, Sony promised update for JB for the Krait ones only. They've not yet announced what other units is upgradable.
JiNkeEz, 21 Sep 2012Almost perfect for me. If this is squeezed even smaller (around 125x65x10) but still offers 4.... moreAnd ofcors the missing shutterkey has to do with the waterproofing as well. Fewer gaskets and watever, good.
JiNkeEz, 21 Sep 2012Almost perfect for me. If this is squeezed even smaller (around 125x65x10) but still offers 4.... moreYes for sure this could have been smaller and slimmer, untill u read a few lines down and see that it is IP57 Certified. I think they did a good job for a waterproof pgone with specs like these.
To V or not to V? That is the question. I'm drooling for the TX as well. Both these ladies are gorgeous! V offers more (Bravia engine 2 with OptiContrast, water resistant and dust proof) but a bit on the chuby side. The TX on the other hand is the sexier of the 2. Their big sister, T is just not my type. Aaaargh! I can't make up my mind. That's it! I quit. I'm going to the bar. Anybody wan't to join me? I'm buyin!
Guys! This phone is not a beast!
She's gorgeously beautiful witch.
a must have if you are leaving in a dusty / humid / rainy / near coast line areas... and you don't have to be extra careful with this phone coz she knows how to take care of herself, dust and scratch resistant.
Hope they've improved the battery/power life/charging duration from their experience in Acro S.
and the after sales service for this matter.
