As a Sony fan, I am disappointed to say that the Motorola RAZR i puts this to shame in one aspect of design. The Moto has the same sized screen, yet squeezes it all into a MUCH more compact body than this. Sony, if you are listening, please take the V and shrink it! (Oh, and add a QWERTY :-P)
only 8 gb memmory and VGA front facing camera...
I'm sure this is not a high end device
Xperia S - P - U
Xperia T - V - J
waiting for this beauty!!
Now a days, Competitors are putting quad core, super amoled screens. Poor sony using tft Screens.

th3D, 16 Sep 2012Dream on man, no chance in H it will cost less than 30k. I seen some preliminary prices in Eur... moreok. agree that it wont be under 20k considering specs. But then if we see there is only 1 phone from Sony in 20k-30k range (xperia P ~23k INR).
Then considering this as mid range phone this would launch at 25-30K INR range.
dave 88, 18 Sep 2012good in philippines is cheaper....Heard any rumors about philippine prices? Im expecting it to be cheaper than Galaxy S3 but not a whole bunch cheaper, im quite sure it will cost more than php 25k, but below 30k, so its still cheap for specs like these. It easily outperforms Galaxy S3, thats gotta be worth something also.
Not a chance!iím sure itís gonna be around Ä450..which would be great, considering the specs..
its quite similar to acro s but has a krait advantage!! thus its price l be near to the price of acro s. but d mid range announcement by sony has my hopes 4 it to be under 20000 INR
Another webshop in norway has it listed at $770. still expensive but getting better now =)
none, 17 Sep 2012come on!! people!!!, lets ave a lil hope!
i am dreaming this phone will not be that expensive... moreip5 does not cost $299, thats price with a plan, tied to one US network. Ip5 sim free cost 529 BRITISH POUNDS for the cheapest model 16GB. Xperia V will cost less but not a whole lot less. $600 sounds like a reasonable price. I found simfree Xperia V for preorder in Norway, its $800, clearly overprice but it clearly suggests this is not a cheap phone.
Edit: For your reference, 529 pounds is $857
