standby time is 400h....it has radio...but it is krait processor and what about HSDPA andHSUPA speed
Atiq, 06 Sep 2012Guys, From me, it was much better with Sonyericsson than Sony! That design... That sophistica... moreAgree with! I own an Xperia S now, but I liked better the SE Xperia Arc, ESPECIALLY THE CAMERA. The camera of the XS has serious focusing issues and poor lowlight performance, Arc was way better.
it has FM Radio with RDS publishers..
vish, 05 Sep 2012Relally bad experiance i have purchased the xperia U but this phone is having lot of touch pro... morewell a smartphone's only as smart as the person who uses it.
i've had the privilege to use a SGS2, SE Xperia's (ray, arc, arcS,mini pro), Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Note, iPhone 4S and Nokia Lumia, but so far none of the other manufacturers outdid the Xperia's video quality.
i know that no matter how good a phone's specs are, we would still complain about a thing or two missing. At least Sony is brave enough to create their own, not just copy another brand's work. hmm...
it's best for people like you to at least try and make it work. it's just a touch screen problem and it's easy to fix (provided that you didn't physically damaged your device for the touch screen not to work)
people who buy android devices should not complain about such simple issues.
For what it's worth, Sony's a great brand and you should try to get to know your phone more.
If android is too complicated for you, then by all means, get yourself a crApple afterall, Android was made by geeks for geeks, and crApple was made from copying other people's work by dummies and incorporating "Smartphones for dummies" to it for dummies. :)
rj23, 08 Sep 2012it only doesn't show here but it also has a Krait S4 CPU coz all of the flagships T, TX and V ... morerj23,are you sure that xv has krait processor and do you know the HSDPA,HSUPA speed.please...thanks ;)
AnonD-36622, 09 Sep 2012Man, I'm tired of a few unknowlegble people mumbling about quad-core for SONY! "Oh Sony w... moreand i am also tired of people who do not have knowledge about a chipset's capability and difference between having a QUAD CORE S4 CHIPSET vs having a DUAL CORE S4 CHIPSET! did i even bring the name of the quad exynos and tegra? i was referring to quad core S4 dude. and just to tell you, yes, dual core S4 might have been able to outdo the tegra quad from One X and Optimus 4X and exynos quad used by Sammy on the S3 and Note 2 but only in some aspects but DUAL CORE S4 with ADRENO 225 will be blown away by a QUAD CORE S4 with ADRENO 320 at anytime! just to tell you as well, the advantage of having a quad core is to be able to save more battery especially with a quad S4 so make your research valuable first before telling someone is dumbfool because you are a fan of a certain manufacturer. i love Sony but i have to give credit to LG and rather invest my money on the Optimus G than the Xperia V because LG somehow have learned about its sucky software updates coz the Optimus L series have had their updates lately. hardware, i had no issues with my previous LG phones coz none of them got wrecked when i used them unlike with my SE walkman before, 2 days after i used it, i had to exchange the device coz the screen went blank for my W300 and W960 phones but, i still love Sony. i hope they'll make quad core phones with Krait CPUs and not listen to your bigger battery coz chipsets and CPUs are more important than a bigger battery for me coz bringing a charger isn't that much of a big issue, maybe for you? lol ;D

vish, 05 Sep 2012Relally bad experiance i have purchased the xperia U but this phone is having lot of touch pro... moreMan, You had a bad experience, so what?! 1st Point - I sell this mobile on my Telecomunication Store (Optimus) and all my costumers are very happy with him. You are the first to complain on this matter this a great price/quality device, one of the best mid-range actually.
Second point - you are suggesting people to not buy Xperia V an high-end device because you had (if you had really) a bad experience with a mid-range device...man taht is ridiculous. Or your an idiot or your an fanboy from other brand (maybe sammy).
when will it be launched at malaysia?and what is the price.kindly reply.thankyou :)
rj23, 08 Sep 2012i like the stylish look of this phone coz this has the unique sophisticated look and i believe... moreMan, I'm tired of a few unknowlegble people mumbling about quad-core for SONY! "Oh Sony why you didn't done a smartphone with quad-core, you would the best in the market"! Guess what?! SONY put a S4 chip and the initial performance is equal or even better than a quad-core, so what are we munbling about?! Instead of given a quad-core that right now is useless and drains the battery even more, they decided to maximize the usage of dual-core, one thing that other companies didn't, because it's easier to sell something new to "dumb people". Two things I give to LG, 2GB RAM and adreno 320 is cool, well done. But LG is LG soon or later they will disappoint you with their costumer support and their late or none update. If one thing should be invested right now was on great batteries like motorola did with "old" razr maxx and the new razr family, that is great. Hope SONY does that soon and first than creating one with quad-core, yes, because they soon or later will have to do one because the market will force that. Well done SONY, inclinig for this one instead of T and hope the price Tag will be "price/quality affordable". Sorry for the long post.
will this phone available in indonesia? No LTE support here, what about the price?
