dude, the dual cores sometimes beat the quad cores cuz android apps aren't yet made to use the full potential of the 4 cores, same goes for benchmark apps...still it doesn't matter in performance when your talking about an android device...right now the game is about the pricing, if Sony made the phone more pocket friendly, it would run out of stock in like 13 hours, honestly i just cant wait for the american release...and BTW there are rumors about an hspa+ version...this phone just has everything, cant wait to lay hands on it :)

sony is now showing that how great is there hardware.if sony's dual core phone are destroying the benchmarks of s3 and one x , then just imagine what would be the results with quad core chip

step 1, go 'search button' top right of this screen.
step 2, type xperia v
step 3, 'read' damn it!

this phone has great specs! i also love how Sony came back from a quite long rest and making a scene by making another dual core devices but whoop the asses of the quad core bad boys like the S3 and upcoming Note 2. I would love to see the Xperia V in live action, how it performs and other things it can provide to a budget conscious consumer who wants nothing but the best and i wanna make sure that its worth every cent that i will be paying. i know this is a great device coz the size isn't too big and its superfast don't get me wrong but, i also wanna follow the trend of having a quad core device which this phone does not have though it kicks the ass of the reigning quad S3 and the upcoming big bro Note 2 which is also a choice for me but, LG is coming with a device that will require double the power of this baby which is the Optimus G! it also got a lovely design and it is the most feature packed phone ever announced this year and it is coming this September to Korea and Japan and maybe sometime in October or November for the worldwide release! if the price isn't too much compared to Xperia V, i would go for Optimus G. Sony, please make quad core devices with similar brilliant design and better features than what LG can offer for the Optimus G! its Sony or LG who will take the crown this year and maybe in the following years since Sammy and Apple always sue each other. ^^
