My phone doesnt have the overheating problem. It only gets a little hot when i use streaming. Underclocking could be a solution. Anyway all smartphones have this problem.

I do experience overheating problem everytime wi-fi or LTE is on.
As to the Sony Service in the Philippines, I am really frustrated with their service. My phone still with them since Dec 2, 2013. My phone frequently shutdowns and restart, and was told that it was due to battery problem.

hi iam from the phillipines i boght the xperia v last december then when i have used it for a several days to upper part of the screen was not responding and the phone gets overheat everytime i try to surf the net or play a game then i go back to the point of sale in the glorieta and they have said that there will be no replacement of the phone because it have already passed the 14 days but then i send the phone to the repair center and they have said that they will be ordering a screen form sinagpore
basically please dont buy sony phones in the glorieta they really suck a bunch of liars i try to cope up with them but they really sucks
is there any onehere faces the same probelem taht i experience??

Philippines has sulit.com.ph theres a lot of V there but doesnt has sony warranty..

That's a bald claim that it's going to happen to every xperia V. have you thought about the possibility that your specific one has a bug?

I bought my xperia V jan. 6 and when i update my youtube and watch on it my phone gets stuck and the only way to get it back is removing the battery.. Does anyone encountered the same problem as me?, what should i do?, Please help.. Tnx..

If you are cautious enough to want to know about a phone before you buy it then you should read this. Xperia V is a nice phone...it is reasonably priced for the features it packs but there is something you should know.If you ever hard reset the device or even upgrade the android version it activates a bug in the phone. the phone then starts frequently restarting even in the middle of a call. most times when powering up it doesn't even go beyond writing the name xperia. this irritating problem does not seem to have a fix. please be ware, i just want you to avoid my mistake. if you have a solution for this problem kindly email it to me at shaokanv@gmail.com
