sanu, 07 Feb 2014guys im going to buy xperia v can u suggest me it's good or notDefinitely.it's a good phone.just don't wash it in water if the charge port flap is loose.which comes off easily after opening and closing for charging.

hi guys
last year i got the sony xperia v lt25i, great phone. my problem is that a month back it startd over-heating and it would restart itself after a couple of seconds. now it doesnt even switch on, it jst beeps red on the light indicator.
how can i resolve this,id love 2 continue using my phone.

Had this phone for two years now and it's solid, only has a small 1700+mah battery but it lasts for a long time on standby (2days with only few short calls a day) Still using the battery that came with it, tread your things right and they will last (unless you where unlucky and got a faulty unit) It charges really fast with the charger it came with. Many times at 1% in the morning and charge it for 10 min and it holds out the day, 40 min and it's at 100%. Dropped the phone few times now and nothing broke, one minor scratch on screen witch is amazing due to the fact that I never had on it any kind of protection nether a case. It does heat up a bit after long usage but would't say its overheating. Maybe I got really lucky with the unit at least it keeps impressing my how fast it charges and how little it uses. The screen is a total overkill but obviously nothing to complain about

Hoax. Overheating problem. Mobile data got damaged. Front camera is VGA. Low quality battery.

Had the phone for about 6 months - really liked it. But apparently 1 month ago the battery just exploded inside for no apparent reason. I was aware that the phone itself was water-proof but I have never tested that ability so the battery wasn't wet nor did it overheat. But the funniest thing in this story that Sony support told me that it was users fault for exploding batteries (phone still had a warranty on it). So no SONY product for me anymore ever :).

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2015thanks for saying the truth about the battery This problema has an easy solution. Just buy another battery and take it in your wallet. I am used to it and i forgot all problems. To open the case you can use a credit card
