khokon, 18 Sep 2013i am fully confused which one i should go for xperia sp or xperia v ? please give me some sugg... morethat was the same problem i had before getting xperia v for my bday..i would suggest to compare SP & V here because it would really depend on your lifestyle. 2 phones have pros n cons but in the end I find xperia V simply the best (in mid-range phones) water resistant,LTE,removable battery what makes this phone rise above. thanks
i am fully confused which one i should go for xperia sp or xperia v ? please give me some suggestion.which one is better?
I already bought this a week ago...xv is awesome,the design sexy,camera 13mp wonderful...the size is not too small and not too big..So I don't regret buying this xv
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2013Xv is better than sp:cheaper,waterproof and the battery can be changed.besides sp has problem ... moreYou right,actually I want to buy SP...but the problem is the battery is non-removable,so I'm not interested with that...and the price of sp is still expensive compare to V
I just bought it last week,so far V is really good for my life style,the camera 13mp...the design,water resistant....then the size is in mid-range...not to small and not to big,the price also not expensive since the new model coming...so it's up to us actually,for me this XV is still great....
Amazing!, amazing!!
Yesterday i forget disable powersave in no-frills cpu (i have a rooted XV).
Today i have used a lot the phone feeling it a little slow but not very much and these have been the results:
Phone in use during 10h, 7m
Talk time: Several calls during 1h,12m
Internet browsing: 1h, 45m
Photo: 20 photos during 30 minutes.
Blootooh:2h 45m conected with the handsfree of my car.
Gps with internet: around 30 minutes working:
Whatsapp: all day, a lot of messages to friends, maybe 25
Battery left: 17%!!!!!!!!
I am not saying to set 384 powersave always, but if you same day need save battery you should enable it because your battery will last longer and longer.
I recomend setting always cpu to 702 on demand because you wont feel any laggy (unless you play a heavy game, in which case you could enable 1.512 for that time).
The battery of xperia V is amazing if you know how to set your phone.
how to install game on xperia v?

Well, it's your choice. Choose the phone the fits your lifestyle. The call clarity is ok but when you watch movies or listen to music thru loudspeaker,the sound is kinda feeble. But the 13mp camera will make you happy I guess,then with no hesitation,go for Xperia V. Hehe. You're welcome. :)

As I've searched the price of SP and V on our country, the price were the same. What I'd love on XPERIA V is its 13MP Camera and its waterproof coz I'm prone to rain :D. I'm not that much on sound clarity, loud enough to hear calls and notification tones is enough for me. Anyway, this phone is still my first choice bcoz of 13MP :D . Maybe when I'm on SONY boutique, I'll test it both. Again, thanks for the infos.

* nice looking phone
*It has a great camera
*sound quality is not so good.
*Internet browsing using this phone is quite fast.
* battery is just ok.
*I can't answer about drop test and water proof test cause I have not drop my phone and I didn't dare to try to use it while my hands are wet or under the rain. Hehe
*it's screen is kinda yellowish(warm) compare to sola and SP. But it's still beautiful.
*watching YouTube or movies is very delightful .(just use portable speaker so you can hear it better. Hehe)
I love the phone but But I worried about the flaps cause I know it will wear out easily. So I switched to xperia SP. And I think SP is much better.

Less than 24 hours, I experience the so-called "Sleep of Death" three time already. After i downloaded some apps, after charging it and last was when I just left my phone on standby mode. I removed the battery for it to restart again, all at those occurrences.
Some of the comments here and in forums suggested to put it on safe mode or remove third party downloaded apps, and so far that trick worked. Less than a day and after experiencing that there is a bit of regret that I should have bought Experia L since the model unit is more current that the Experia V which was released 2012.
I hope I can enjoy this phone more in the long run or else...

Don't you think?The point is,we people intend to ask for more reviews from others as much as we can just so we can be very sure that we're getting the right information that we need.
Contrary to what you have just said ,it actually gets more useful and more effective if more people are asking questions and there are willing people who WILLINGLY share their own experiences and thoughts.
