I've had the Xperia V since Smart offered it on LTE Plan on the 2nd day of availability. It is great in terms of internet speeds, I'm always downloading torrents using it. It heats up a lot, of course, because of the abuse. The battery never lasts a day when data is on. It is still unlimited LTE service, so I kind of abuse it. Maybe when they start capping, I will turn off data when not needed, and then maybe get 1 day from the battery. I'm expecting the waterproof cover of the micro USB port gives up soon. I heard it's 500 pesos to repair, means it's not bad. Everything else about the phone is great.

another question, are the flaps durably built? i cannot find a unit near my place (out of stock) so i am planning to buy it online too. tia :)
sometimes when i switch-off my phone,it can not find the network. after again switching off,it got the network.

Battery usage (i.e current drain) was high at that instance. When you restarted the phone, it recalculated the average battery level after the phone has rebooted.
I believe it would also give the same 10% reading (or even lesser) if you would launch the same applications that you previously had.
joy, 23 Jul 2013hi, have you tried using the phone as a wi-fi hotspot? does it work with a regular sim? thanks.yeah it works
joy, 23 Jul 2013hi, have you tried using the phone as a wi-fi hotspot? does it work with a regular sim? thanks.Yes, I tried using that as a hotspot. so far so good. it just heats up too much especially when u are using 3G/LTE. Just use it with moderation. Im using an old smart postpaid sim card. Not an LTE Sim. But i regstered to an LTE Plan (send LTE 50 to 7577) haha

ahm, 22 Jul 2013Hi I am facing problem with battery. My battery was on 10 % but when I restarted my set it aga... moredont worry about that too much,it really happens once in a while even with other android phones.though i dont know the reason why its happening .ive experienced that too.
I bought my xperia v last friday (7/21/13)
Bought it from kimstore for 13.1K pesos.
I'm excited to try its waterproof capability so I submerged it in our pail full of water. Yehey. It just created bubbles (some air might be inside the phone). After that, I took it out, then it's still fixed.
Only problem here is battery. Maybe because I used it for 3G browsing and gaming at the same time. 70% brightness at that time. Some stock apps are cool like walkman, and some, I immediately uninstalled.
I rooted my phone already. I can now customize it. It's good with multitasking. No lags/force close yet. 6 pages of apps already.
It tried LTE using my Smart sim (postpaid) (take note: not an LTE sim but I still can use it for LTE), the speed is like 8mbps DL, 6mbps UL. :D
Dutche, 22 Jul 2013Which is better XPeria V Or P?I'm using Xperia P since march 2013 and I'm happy with that phone. I works fast, there are not so much lags. The only problem is the battery, but the latest updates and turning on the "power saver mode" increase the life of the device with additional half day (at least 12-16h)
Hi I am facing problem with battery. My battery was on 10 % but when I restarted my set it again come on 40 %. Is it a fault in battery? Why battery came up high after restart?
