Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016Their mobile-division isn't really that far from being closed if they magically don't begin to... moreBad quality? Lol. My Z3 works like new even in 2016. If you are Samsung fan close your mouth and don't post negative comments.

410 is too slow, even with the 2GB RAM. Processor is important, and you can also find that phones with the 410 such as Moto G struggle to play games even at 720p.
625 is a midrange processor. Once again, during heavy multitasking the difference between 625 and a 650 will be evident.
X Compact is supposed to be a flagship miniature phone. How can they put a slow processor like a S625 on that?
People wanted a S820 equipped miniature compact phone. Sony's Compact line were high end phones, with flagship grade internals. Putting a processor like 625 would be a shame.

Please note that even 410 can run Android with almost no lag as long as there's at least 2G Ram. We don't always needs the most powerful SoC, battery life is just as important.
Just got it today....but can't find any screen protectors or cases yet :-(
Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016WTF! How did you decide that the 650 is a crap processor AND it's worst than 652?!?
They are... moreYou have to understand a trolls mind....
Whatever Sony uses is...crap to begin with.
Reality dont matter to these folks.
Anonymous, 09 Sep 2016Sony won't die. Never.Their mobile-division isn't really that far from being closed if they magically don't begin to sell more phones. There's a damn good reason for low sales; the bad quality just doesn't gather interest.
WTF! How did you decide that the 650 is a crap processor AND it's worst than 652?!?
They are right next to each other on the top 10 of the smartphone processor benchmark list and if you look at benchmark scores of phones with those processors the score of the 650 is higher than 652. It's written black on white there! You can't just make things up. Here's an example of two phones with 652:
the LG G5 SE highest scores - single core 1252 multi core 2490
Samsund S9 pro 2016 (that even has 4gb ram, not 3 like the others) - single core 1250 multi core 2607
And the bench for the new X compact with the 650 - single core 1375 and multi core 3352
So how is this crap processor?
Tann Hauser, 09 Sep 2016Removing waterproofing is part of price optimization dummy. Havent you seen? X Compact goes ... morePlus that a downside of waterproofing is that the phone gets hot when used because it is well sealed. I swear that people complain about the lack of waterproof even their phone stays cool or they complain about the heat when it is waterproof ( for instance z5).
Just one more tenth of an inch. and it was perfect imo. 4.7" is the PERFECT size for me. Oh well... Can't change what is alreaxy existing. -,-
any idea about launching x compact in India?
if not shall I go for x?
only concern is battery.. how about battery life?
Tann Hauser, 09 Sep 2016Removing waterproofing is part of price optimization dummy.
Havent you seen?
X Compact goes ... morestill overprice for 4.6 inch screen with cr@p processor, plastic body, and low resolution.
with the same price, china can make a lot better phone. sony_mobile is not more than a dying company.
Booony, 09 Sep 2016And removing water-proofing is a part of optimizations too. lol. Fail.Removing waterproofing is part of price optimization dummy.
Havent you seen?
X Compact goes for 360£...thats 100£ cheaper than previous sony compacts.
Use intelligence, deny ignorance please
My only slight niggle with previous generation handsets has been the volume. It was a bit on the low side.
Chaos X 1982, 06 Sep 2016If they used S625 with 3G RAM, 32G Storage, and a FHD display on a 4.6" screen, ip68 water and... moreSnapdragon 625? Ugh, it's a mid range chipset.
Id rather choose a S650 phone with 4.6", HD display than a S625 with 4.6" FHD display.
Snapdragon 650 is as fast as the 810 in Xperia Z5C, but the Snapdragon 625? No.
