Anonymous, 01 Sep 20163GB ram is very good for Sony. Because of brilliant optimization and lightweight UI.Compared to samsuck that lags even with 4gb of ram. Lagwiz masterrace!
Good downgrade from the z5 compact. You get a less powerful, heavier, thicker, less compact phone. Not to mention its pretty ugly. Nice work sony.
Sony just lost their uniqueness in the flagship compact game, they were pretty much playing alone it the compact field!
Now Im like.. meeh.. z3 compact is miles ahead.

For xc, I think they have their own surprises, we just dont know yet, but I think sony's phone without water proofing, it seems like something gone from their special features.
Not full hd no 4k not the same performance like the xz the colors are not extra i have waiting long for a new compact model but now nothing special i'm disappointed
Me, 01 Sep 2016AMOLED ? for having screen burn in after a few monthes ?Not even if you have it on for 24 hours every day for months. I don't know who's feeding you these lies.
I'm a z5 compact owner.I also had,just for two weeks,xperia x.This compact X it's about the same phone,just smaller.So i decide to keep the z5c,it's better.Looking at this new launched x compact,there's no point to upgrade.Sony disappointed me again...Only a possible X compact performance may change something.

Sony, 01 Sep 2016because it's enough3GB ram is very good for Sony. Because of brilliant optimization and lightweight UI.
Triple image sensing technology (color + phase + laser detection) to analyse, adapt and capture, it also manage 5 different axes SteadyShot Intelligent Active Mode in this X compact.

Wish this was a xz compact as this doesn't seem like much of a upgrade over the z5 compact, more like a downgrade. No waterproofing, no 4K video ,snapdragon 650 (snapdragon 808) and it's bigger phone without a bigger screen. Only upgrades are an extra 1gb ram and camera (and that's not much of a upgrade)
I knew it would not get the S820! Anyways it is a good compact phone, see it as a true successor of the G1
